Released in1976 & this song blows away any song today!

SUCH A GREAT SONG WITH SOME AMAZING GROOVES!!!!

The whole "Silk Degrees" album is great. Remember when it came out in 1976. It has a bluesy sound to it. Two of his most famous songs from that album are "Lowdown" & "Lido Shuffle". Some other songs are "It's Over", "What Can I Say", "We're All Alone", "Harbor Lights" & "Jump Street".

Been listening to Boz Scaggs Silk Degrees since I was 15yrs old!! It changed my life!!

Old lady here...Boz has been a favorite of mine for decades. Fun to watch others discover him, even now. His distinctive voice is a big part of his appeal. I loved the bluesy feel of this one.

I have seen Boz in concert several times. He is Amazing!!! He is in the Dukes Of September with Donald Fagen and Michael Mc Donald. They are iconic together. Boz has phenomenal background singers. At one concert I attended, we gave one of his singers a standing ovation. She was amazing. 70s music is the best!!!

STAN, My favorite Reactor: What a great reaction to a great song! People get used to hearing certain songs, but we all can use a refresher. The voice is really good; the instrumentation is also out of this world. Another giant hit was "Lido Shuffle" There's a lot of other songs in Boz Scaggs' catalog to check out further, and well worth the listen!

Boz Skaggs is a blue-eyed soul brother that has been laying it down since the 60's, where he started out as a blues performer. The founding members of Toto are the studio musicians on this whole album!

Brilliant album, in my top 3 !! I recently had to buy a new copy !! Session musicians of which 3 later went on to form Toto !! Lido Shuffle, What can I say and Harbour lights are the bomb !! This track is my no 1 from the album ❤❤❤

Bozz Scaggs doesn't get enough recognition. "Jojo" is another favorite song of mine, but honestly, I kind of love all of them.

Stan! Welcome to the Boz rabbit hole. Like the Karen rabbit hole, there’s a lot to explore. I loved you’re reaction, it was what I was hoping for. Total bliss and joy and funk. You’ve had plenty to read here already. I’ll confirm that every damn song on Silk Degrees is FIRE. Each in its own way. Boz came out of The Steve Miller Band so react to the Joker, Abracadabra and Jet Airliner. From this album (SD) came three members who went on to form Toto. So react to Africa and Roseanna. Lots of connections. Also the signature guitar riff was created on the spot by Louie Shelton a member of The Wrecking Crew the famed Los Angeles based studio musicians who are on essentially every album of the 50-60-70’s. A good thing to do research on and learn the backstory of. There is a documentary about them made by the son of Tommy Tedesco one of the main guitarists of the time.
