Now that was (as always I might add..) a VERY pleasurable reaction, I just knew it would be fun to watch you react, you really got it, just like him! Ain't that a great voice? And a nice guy? - Now actually this is not "his" band, he's just featuring with them, so far only this one time, the guys in the background are "Roommate Project" with their series "See You On Wednesday" which brings a new arrangement of a song with another vocalist every Wednesday, and most of them are great stuff... They are top notch musicians obviously (you are one of the few reactors who took notice and commented on that awesome bass lick and the keyboarder's reaction, I loved that detail of your reaction, because that bass gives me a little eargasm every time... but CK's voice is soul massage from start to finish. It's a bit funny to have CK introducing the others as he's featuring in their channel and they are his hosts, but then I suppose CK has a much larger following than "See You On Wednesday" so it's him who brings traffic to their channel in this case... But Roommate Project themselves are really worth checking out with other vocalists as well, don't know if they are picking such good choices or if just everyone in Indonesia is a natural talent, every week a new singer and all are great... some are singing Indonesian songs, others are covering English ones like CK did here.... For another really outstanding performance on "See You On Wednesday" search their channel for a cover of Faouzia's "This Mountain" sung by Novia Bachmid... "you ready?" ... unbelievably good rendition of a great song... (Novia is, though still quite young, a top artist in Indonesia, see her featuring also in Alffy Rev's "Wonderland Indonesia...) ... - For more Chakra Khan you got literally hundreds of great covers to choose from, just go to his own channel and pick any song you know and like, he does them all more than justice, he literally kills each and every song no matter the genre with his unique voice that just gets you hooked immediately... do you like Hozier's "Take Me To Church"? Or Queen's "The Show Must Go On"? Or "I'd Rather Go Blind"? Or wanna try some Indonesian song? Or just check his most recent one, that guy is incredibly productive, but I suppose just like Angelina Jordan he just sings a song once or twice and then he's ready to record and slay it... like Angelina he often reads the lyrics from his PC or a tablet while singing, he doesn't need to be familiar with a song to slay it, natural instinct and long experience I guess... Rosalie, this is jus d tip of d Cakra Khan iceberg. Good lord, u hv been missing on all d good stuff. Frankly, i evn like many of hs covers better thn d original. He is jus in a class òf hs own. My favourites are Iris by Goo Goo Dolls, Anyone by Demi Lovato, Broken Vow by Lara Fabian, Will You Stil Love Me Tomorrow by Roberta Flack. Happy dscovery journey.

This is about the 15th Tennessee Whiskey Cakra Khan video I’ve watched, probably because I enjoy feeling “my first” impressions all over again. This is the first time watching Rosalee Reacts. I love how she pointed out the bass riff and interaction with the keyboardist. This was the closest reaction of my own. I’m grinning from ear to ear. Thanks Rosalee for the trip down memory lane! I would highly recommend checking out his cover of Anyone by Demi Lovato. The vocals are impressive as always but the emotion he puts in that performance shows a completely different side of him. He has that amazing ability to transport you!

Country artist George Jones originally wrote and performed this song back in the 70's. Although his version is one of my favorites, however this remake is soooo damed good. Chris Stapleton did a great performance but, this guy just took it to a whole different level ❤
