There was a cable car in China that crashed down, as a result of being over-filled fell, killing 14 people. One young couple held their infant son above their heads, sacrificing themselves to save their child. "Daybreak" is the tribute and lament of that young boy for the parents he'll never know. The song's writer later adopted that young boy. The first time I heard this song was this same rendition in the Bastau concert. It made me cry though I can´t understand chinese and the video had not subs.

This is THE performance that burned Dimash into my heart forever. He became my dearest artist when I saw Daybreak - Bastau. And then there was "Qairan Elim" in Prague.

Always stunning, no matter how many times we watch Dimash. He can always hit emotions we never knew we had.

This is a masterpiece of song and singer. This song must be heard with yrcsan kowledge of the story to feel its full impact.
