👉This song is Dimash’s calling card. That is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (That is what Dimash calls us fans.) The song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and in 2017 made Dimash a mega-star overnight. That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. The competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door. The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to KZfaq ... and so we became Dimash's Dears. A few months later Dimash sang this song here, as a guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the competition 'Slavic Bazaar 2018'. I know that when I first heard Dimash sing this song. I was struck with a Divine realization. I was in the presence of greatness. One of those rare times where the rest of the world kind of fell away and really got to enjoy the experience. The amazement came after and then I watched it like 20 more times because I was amazed and that was my experience. Then after that I was introduced to LP the same day the next song after SOS from Dimash was live session Lost on You, which at the time had something like eight thousand views. Now it's got over a billion. Well deserved, although I have to say that this guy is the one that should have that many views. However in actuality they are both something to behold for different and various reasons. Dimash takes the Cake in sheer Ah and Wonder.

He's all that, and so much more! Everyone will most likely agree that Sinful Passion at Sochi should be next. It's even more epic than this and they'll just keep coming that way. He's been in training since he resided in his mother's womb, as she is an accomplished opera singer and he comes from a very musical family who have given him every opportunity to hone the craft he adores so much. Music runs through his veins instead of blood and he is as dedicated as they get, never ending his quest to improve and explore his abilities. A wonder of the ages, unique and outstanding! welcome to the dimash rabbit hole, it only gets better. one of his videos that doesn't get many views, but is IMO one of his most amazing performances, is Drunken Concubine/Diva Dance with Li Yugang. Li is a very famous singer in Chinese opera. he is trained in the style of Nan Dan which is where men are trained to sing the soprano part of the play because historically women were not allowed to perform. the contrast between Dimash's opera style and Li's style is blended beautifully
