I still remember first listening to this whole record 20 years ago. Last one on the MMLp and still his hardest IMO (his best skit mid song too lol). Picturing myself driving around in a beat up '87 grand am bumping this still brings me a perfect mix of cringe and laughter with it.

Yall missing the content & intent. From jump, he's telling you what the media & cancel culture were trying to paint him as. So he said, if ya think I'm that way, here believe this Think about what everything In the song said & did. Did he really shoot Dre with an AK? So does that mean he doesn't like gays or lesbians? He made everything to the opposite but some only hear what they want to be offended by. Same ish Chappell just talked about in the Closer. .it's about equal rights. Not special rights..

People gotta remember back in the late 1990's & earlier 2000's it wasn't so sensitive like now. People joked & laugh, & didn't take everything so serious. Eminem was young, remember your mentality being young. But he's evolved & has gotten better, but his old stuff is classic. My favorite album was the Eminem show & Eminem Lp the 1st LP.

You simply can't expect a 50 year old man to pull this off the same way he did then. I love every version of Em (outside of Encore era) because there's a growth you can look back on. I miss Slim as well it just couldn't live up to this if he did go all out again.

This has been my favorite Eminem song since I was 11 years old. 2021 and it's harder than ever. Also the song was actually against the establishment which is pretty ironic now that he is become the establishment.

The context of the song had to do with the time, when people were offended by his lyrics in his first album so he went out of his way to say offense and over the top shit to piss the critics off even more, but it’s tongue and cheek and not all literal. It was genius at the time.

It's a song. That's what he said in the intro, if you hold him accountable for every word in his song then that's stupid. Just like when you go to see a movie, you don't put an actor under the same microscope. Em is trying to paint a picture. It's his art and he's showing you what he can do with his pen. You should marvel at his imagination and creativity.

Criminal is one of my fav songs on the track and forever I was the only one playing it becaus the other hits on that but Bitch 2, Criminal, My Drug ballad Kill you the songs that were not huge like Real I love even more than Real. especially this , this or drug ballad if I had to have only one Em song is it for me. Not sure if you know the back story to this song, but this was not too long after congress targeted him around 2001 or so. Trying to Censor him and others in the industry, in fact, Lyrics from the song Kill You were read into the official congressional records.
