Yes, Yes, YES! KISS Army member here, & thank you for reacting to my 2nd all-time fave rock band! While KISS are a hard glam rock band, this song has a slight disco vibe. Lead singer Paul Stanley was told he couldn't write disco music, & he wrote this rocker in less than an hr. Fantastic showmen, NEVER disappoint!

I was 13 in 1979 when this song was released. And then I discovered another awesome band called Thin Lizzy. 1985 I bought my first bass guitar and became an Iron Maiden fanatic and also got right into all the blues greats. So many good ones. And then there's Rory Gallagher. Just brilliant!

Great band, and they were my first concert. It was the end of 1976, and Kiss was playing San Francisco Cow Palace. I was just 14, and I was absolutely blown away.

KISSes only foray into a disco feel. it was Co-written by Paul Stanley and is the one song Gene Simmons detests. Now, although in their trademark makeup and costumes, Their Live Shows are big into Lights, Effects, Fire Breathing/Spitting Blood and Pyrotechnics. For a Slow Ballad, there's the Iconic Song "Beth" and there's just too many to list for PARTYING! Heck, Their song "Love Gun" is a song about a guy's ----- !

I remember in the late 70's the music magazines used to chase Kiss around trying to get a picture of them without makeup. They would have teasers like "Kiss caught without Makeup" and the picture would be them with hats and sunglasses and other items on obscuring their faces! It was quite the gimmick for years and we never really did see their faces. For their "Lick it Up" video they finally removed the makeup and when the public saw them, they begged them to put it back on!

I stayed up so late tonight watching your reaction videos. Your unvarnished emotion reminds me of the first time I listened to these years ago. Your comments on a couple of the older songs about the singers putting their emotions out there really resonated -- that just doesn't happen (much) today. Believe it or not,one of the best things I found KISS music for is.....cooking. When preparing a feast for yourself or the family,songs like this or "Sure Know Something",or "Is That You?" or "Torpedo Girl" or "Rock n Roll All Nite" or "Tears Are Falling" or "Heaven's On Fire" make sure that it's just not what's in the frypan that's sizzling....

I first seen kiss live in Jackson Mississippi in 1978. What a wild night I could write a book about the crazy things that happens. My cool ass aunt got me sold out tickets and she got us backstage. OMG😂😮 The things my eyes seen. Lol But this song is not the real KISS this was the end of the original band. Don't get used to it. This is not what you will get from KISS all the time. This track was basically a one off "Disco" tune. Make no mistake, KISS are a hard rock band, and if this is what you're expecting from them, you're gonna be sadly disappointed.

They know what they are singing about. Gene Simmons claimed to have made love to 4600 women. Including Cher or Diana Ross. But he did not like this song that much as his part was mainly the "doo...doo...doo...doo...doooo...".

Along with Lick It Up, probably the dumbest Kiss song ever written! Plus it was a bit discoey, so that was a strike against it! Try I Love It Loud and Detroit Rock City! Not really a KISS fan, but those two songs are decent!
