This is such a fun song, written by Brian and the sister song to Freddie's song Bicycle race. Freddie was impressed with the Tour de France was going by their hotel so that was his inspiration and Brian said he wrote Fat Bottomed Girls for Freddie who liked for his partners, both male and female to have ample behinds. I am not a huge fan of crowds but concerts were different back then. People were basically polite and friendly, there was rarely any confrontation and you really did get pulled into the show and the people around you usually seemed like they were your friends. No scaffolding is safe when Freddie is on stage! Thank you for your reaction.

There’s kind of a second half of this song call Bicycle Race. That’s what his, “Get on your bikes and ride!” At the end was about.

Dude, it’s a 20 minute video but people will watch. It’s been called the best rock performance ever. It’s Queen from Live Aid 1985, watch the full set. It’s really impressive.

This song is tied to the great Queen song "Bicycle Race". There is a video on youtube for "Bicycle Race" where 100 completely nude women (except for sneakers and socks) participate in bicycle race around an oval bike track. I don't think anyone could get away with releasing a video like that here in 2023, but Queen did indeed release that R-rated video.

Oh baby! You're on fire and funny too! The lyrics are " I've got Mortgages and homes, I've got stiffness in my bones, ain't no beauty queens in this locality ", but Freddie would've definitely loved your version too! I believe Dr, Brian May PhD, Astrophysicist wrote this one and Freddie sings with such power and conviction, it's as if he personally wrote it and lived through it himself. 👍😎

"...all of sudden I didn't want to play with toys no more.". 😲😲😆😝😝. So awesome!!! Song is from their album, "Jazz". Released in 1978. Great record. AND it came with a surprise inside: A fold out widescreen poster of 65 female models on bikes...all nude. I was 13 at the time. My eyes almost popped outta my head. I taped it on my wall where it stayed until I left for college. Check out the song "Bicycle Race". Which is the next song after this one on the album

It's a Dr Sir Brian May song, the person on the guitar which by the way is homemade called The Red Special and he's an Astrophysicist hence the Dr and recently knighted by King Charles. They all wrote the songs, it's not Fred and Queen it's very much four equal people who are highly intelligent, Roger Taylor has a Bachelor Of Science, Fred was a Graphic Designer, John Deacon degree in Electronics, could all sing, although John didn't like the sound of his own voice, he built the Amps he and Sir Brian used, Fred came up with the name and logo, he actually joined Roger and Sir Brian at university as they already had a group and the Bassist / lead singer left for another group, but they all remained friends. The group started way back in 1970 and as we know them in 1971 as it took a few Bassist to find John, so don't assume Fred is the leader, in his own words lead singer and they all bought their talents into the group. Both Roger and Sir Brian still work as part of Queen and individually on other things, John retired from the business in 1997. This isn't inside stadium it's outside as many of their concerts were, anything from a few thousand and Rio I think was the biggest audience of around 250,000 for each show and no two shows were the same nor will anything sound exactly how the record sounds

Shon...you were on FIRE today. Between this video and the Aerosmith/DMC collab you brought back two fantastic memeories for me. I will be 62 this June and things like this help keep me young. I am a diehard classic rock fan and I like a lot of the older hiphop. Just an idea...have you ever heard of an Alice Cooper And Xzibit collab called Stand Up. I love Alice Cooper as the Goth of rock n roll. I love Xzibit's songs too and I also loved his show called 'Pimp My Ride' Thanks for all you do. And I have to be honest I am a red-blooded American Woman...you are beautiful and you aren't afraid to show it. I'm not hitting on you but if I was still 50....I ain't gonna lie I would be trying to test drive ya....lol ***This is meant with best thoughts to you and hopes that you will find a long life filled with an overflow of love and happiness. And I have been married and divorced twice but I recently have a new man who is 60. I have had a lot of hard times in my life but evenmore I have had a lot of love. We get stoned (only that though) and I'm not shy to say that sex can actually be better when you're older. Don't know where it is leading but enjoying our love because we should love while we are still alive. Sorry this has been such a long comment but I honestly love your channel. You have a wonderful presence & personality. You deserve to go far and succeed in life. ***It won't be much but I will be collecting early retirement from SSI in a month or two and I plan on giving you something every chance I get...and sharing your videos as much as I can.

I got mortgages, & homes. I got stiffness in my bones. Refers to getting older, & still enjoying / getting his. They are English. To Bone / Boner. Is American slang. Words which were not being used yet. In the mid to late 70s. When the song was written. By guitarist Brian May btw.
