Both the singer and guitarist have really interesting upbringing. The singer grew up the son of a revolutionary in Mexico who fought against the explotiation of the very poor and the guitarist is the song of a Kenyan leftist revolutionary. Raging against the machine is in their blood and soul

I could be wrong, but I believe this song is about being brainwashed by what's on TV. Anyway, you would also enjoy "No Shelter" and "Take the Power Back" also by Rage Against the Machine.

Pinkpop 1993, I was 19 years old and was in the pit. The energy was realy unbelievable. One of my best concert ever!

My love of music is as varied as your curiosity. I can listen to anything from SOAD to Brahms. Sadly, I'm still coming to terms with some forms of country music. RATM is another of my favourite bands. Thanks again, buddy. And congratulations on the meteoric rise in subs.

RATM is the best show that i went in my life, 2010, Brazil, first and only show of then in here, the band was 2 years without play till that day, more then 300 thousand people, in the middle of a farm..... what a show, some day look for RATM SWU 2010, the first song is testify, good for you to see a more mature rage against the machine.

The craziest show i have ever been to was Rage Against the Machine in 2008 at Lollapalooza in Chicago i puked on sooo many people it was great.... LOL
