Roy Clark was one of the most under-rated instrumentalists of all time. He could play guitar, banjo, violin, and mandolin at extremely proficient levels!

Thought you might like this one. I've only seen it a couple of times, but I thought of your channel Craig right away. In the middle of the video, that was not Felix Unger and Oscar Madison, it was Tony Randall and Jack Klugman, they were no longer "in character", they were just enjoying the show. Roy Clark is as fast and accurate as anyone, Including Eddie Van Halen, Jerry Garcia, Jimmy Page, or anyone else you care to name. He is amazing.

There's another clip of that episode in which Roy plays and sings Yesterday, plays country banjo, then plays classical violin (followed by country fiddle), and then plays this song. Amazing talent and versatility!

Roy Clark was the star on a tv show called Hee Haw along with Buck Owens. You will find many of Roy's performances on that show. I grew up with it. I am 67 and lived through a great guitar era.

Kind of reminds me when back in the 60's we would listen to the great Spanish guitarists Andrés Segovia and Carlos Montoya

The speed and precision are mindblowing. But the really hard part is making it flow into a perfect musical statement. Any hickup of hesitation or overstreching would spoil the whole effect.

Roy Clark could play anything with strings, check out him and Buck Trent doing Dueling Banjos. He is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and hosted a country music variety show called Hee Haw. Great reaction

Another great guitarist who started out as a professional session guitarist is Glen Campbell. He plays with Roy on many videos. Amazing pair.

Roy does play a lot on an electric guitar. Another great guitarist I know you be impressed with is Tommy Emmanuel. Also Billy Strings. I could go on and on.
