you need to check out anything from the cobo hall shows in 75/76 to see KISS at its peak...they were absolute killer and a machine on these shows!!!!

Saw them last summer. It was an outdoor concert, but somehow they still managed to blow the roof off the building. Damn those guys knows how to throw a party. One of the best live acts ever.

You need to watch the 70’s performance of these songs when Ace Frehley and Peter Criss were in the band. Their prime years in the 70’s were way better than these 2000’s ones.

Of course the drumming couldn’t have possibly been as strong and Ace would’ve needed to be PERFECT. Perfect Ace (which doesn’t mean not being a wee bit “Ace sloppy”..that’s part of the “perfect” - but fact is sometimes he’s just too sloppy) beats perfect Tommy every time. No one has Ace’s vibrato and the sound from his unique spectrum of string gauges he likes to use. But…that said, Tommy and Eric have been consistent professionals Paul and Gene can rely on. And that’s priceless. Without them, there’d be no current KISS. Ace and Peter just don’t have the mental and physical stamina to keep up with Paul and Gene. Sadly, Paul and Gene desperately need to hang up the outfits and touring at end of the MSG shows.

Very Under rated song but also a classic. I hope you guys get to see Kiss when in your area !!! This must be the 1st time I have seen Paul play on a double neck guitar looks great wish he would play more i know Ace has done it as well!!!

This was a Wicked Lester song complete with flutes so it actually pre-dates KISS. If you watch footage from 1977 you'll see Paul playing the double-neck on Hooligan.

You can also see an old video of Paul and Ace playing the same double neck guitar in I believe a Don Kirshner TV appearance on the song Hard Luck Woman. Era around 1976-77.

Check out the studio version of this one as well, but be sure and listen to the intro as well. A nice acoustic intro that leads to that riff from hell. I Love it! One of my favorite KISS releases as well as "War Machine"

@@robertmar Yes, that's it. On the Double Platinum Album, the "Rock Bottom" intro is played before "She" as a remix. Check it out. It fits perfectly. I actually like it better remixed with "She"

In 74, KISS came out with 2 studio albums. Neither sold very well but they were such a hot live act that they were playing shows 5-6 nights a week and were on the road for over a year. When sales of Hotter Than Hell were winding down, Casablanca Records needed a 3rd album to generate sales and income because their shows were expensive even then to put on. So they never had any real time to sit down and write songs for an album. This was a song Gene had for his and Paul's 1st band that was just reworked into a much better version.

Thank you for acknowledging those glory years. DYNASTY broke the spell. Kiss was one of the most amazing hard edged 70,s band and everything that went with it which was epic. THE DREAM LIVED for a brief period in our music history.

You look like the New York Giants football team. They wear red and blue. The best live version of this is the iconic recording on Alive. But man - Tommy Thayer plays it a hell of a lot better than Ace Frehley ever did live. My wife and I are two of the fortunate who will be seeing them in Detroit in October of 2023. Thanks for showing all of your love for this epic group

@@NecramoniumVideo It's about musicianship and that 2004 tour was heavy (Unholy played live and when you are selling that same night on CD 30 mins after the show.....THAT says it all. Eric Singer is very powerful drummer and Tommy plays everything exactly the way you hear it on record....Ace is my favorite guitarist of all time but facts are facts and Tommy plays everything just as well and now better....listen to the heaviness.....they had to mic up Peter's drums so loud...the best KISS drummers have always been named Eric ....and anyone who says other wise are the clueless idiot original only fans and everyone knows they live in fantasyland.....btw, the RTN 2OO4 was a MASSIVE success and sold out or has 90% capacity ever show. Also in 1982/83 for the Creatures tour....in this KISS ARMY member since 1976.....that tour had horrible attendance sadly and it was the heaviest setlist they ever did and Eric Carr and VINNIE were DESTROYING.... KICKING AS EVERY NIGHT.... so attendance figure lie greatl

@@ms.felonystrutter2472 Don't care you are from 1976, And creatures of the night bombed so hard their US tour never made money, Paul has recounted the story of him throwing picks into the audience and hitting the floor behind. and these are just your opinions and not shared with many, so stop trying to force it on me. I am doing a documentary about them. I know my stuff, i even worked with Eric (Carr's) sister over the years, and even Eric loved Peter and thought he was the best.

I saw Kiss the 1st 3 years they toured & in 2015 . They are not the same . Paul's voice is shot they where wigs use backing tracks everything is fake . They just want your money its sad & a ripoff save your money and see a real band

Boooo fake KISS! You should have done a version from the 70's with the real KISS. This is garbage! Big fan of your channel and subscriber, but as a KISS fan since '77 I won't watch Tommy and Eric pretend to be Ace and Peter. The Final Tour was 2000. I refuse to watch anything after that.
