- Parts were broadcast on TV ("Pycho Circus" & "Shout It Out Loud") and the whole thing on radio, but several songs were not performed again during the seemingly aborted "Psycho Circus" tour...

This was Kiss at their peak. All four of the original members who knew each other’s antics on stage and every member’s part in a song. How can you beat that?

Did you notice the date? This concert was on Halloween night...the entire crowd was in costume. Smashing Pumpkins opened and the Psycho Circus danger act was performing before that on the infield. Best concert of my life!!!

Another great KISS song...and I had every album until they unmasked. I saw KISS in '79 and on the Reunion and Farewell Tours. So much fun to only see just original members each time.

That was so much fun man oh man... when kiss were all getting along, when they were playing well together, when they were happy or even if they were just on top of it... They were Untouchable. They're shit was so fun and so catchy and so well presented... It always makes me a bit sad to see kind of the parody they've become in recent years with the members leaving and what not but it's still great to see older footage of them just being amazing. People never gave them the credit as to how good musicians they actually were. I think the fact that their songs have endured this long as a good Testament to just what quality level there was in the original songs to begin with. Great band.

Memorable highlight of this clip. Ace Frehley finally got his chance to sing the song he wrote in the late sixties. Not particularly his best playing here but the energy level is top notch. This show was performed on Halloween night

You guys should REALLY check out a classic live KISS performance from 1977,when they were all in their 20's. Check out "I Stole Your Love" or "Firehouse" from Houston,TX 1977 or any song from Japan 1977. The classic original KISS at their peak!!

I love ALL KISS but you really have to react to something from 74 to 78. That was KISS at their best, if you were to ask me the earlier the better. Even the Midnight Special performance, awesome. I think that was the first time I saw them in action, my mom woke me up to watch it, if i wasnt hooked before i was definitely hooked after that.

What's ironic is that Gene sings the track but he's never drank alcohol in his life, this was one of Aces first songs that he wrote.

Ace was not comfortable singing in the beginning , by the time he wrote shock me , Gene had encouraged him to sing it himself, and he hasn't stopped since

You should hear Kiss during their unplugged 1995 performance, sounded so crisp. And (eventhough this is going to get some hate) rock the nation tour, Paul was starting to struggle with the vocals but he sounded awesome to my ear. He might have lost a bit of range at that point but he increased the rasp a bit and he stayed on note

Kiss is the band that started me on rock and metel. It was Kiss destroyer live and i got the 8 track in 77. I was 8 years old.

Great concert! I was there and it’s the best concert I’ve ever been to. I was late so I missed the opener which was smashing pumpkins. Not that I really cared. When I was walking in there were people walking out saying they couldn’t believe they only played for 45 minutes and left before KISS. It was on Halloween night in 1998. Parking and driving was so slow that they got out of their limo on Hollywood Boulevard and just walk to the hotel and people thought it was just a costume.

This was the first night of the tour Halloween night in Detroit, Reasoning for it being cold. This at the time was the first concert in 3D. If watching closely you see some people in 3D glasses.

Yes, agree, Deuce from the same show. That song, like Cold Gin, were off their first album which if you looked past the crazy show, it had some damn good songs. The first time I saw Kiss was also the first time I saw Black Sabbath in 1975, who were for good reason the headliner. Great show by both bands. Rock just Won't die, for a 21st century sample try Halestorm and I MIss the Misery. Enjoy!;🎸

The song is called Sloe Gin I think they got in a paton issue with the company who produced Sloe Gin. The original record was " Sloe Gin and they had to change it.

The first concert I ever went to was Alice Cooper in the late 60’s or early 70’s. I wanted to see The James Gang the year before but I was only a Sophomore in High School and I couldn’t go. The next year my Mom bought me and my best friend tickets to see Alice Cooper. I was off and running. I’ve gone to 70 major concerts since then.

Very good video Just watched the earlier video from the Brooklyn bridge which was done on New year's eve just in case you didn't know as for a comment on this I agree check out the Unplugged version of Rock and roll all Night or nothin to lose from the Unplugged on MTV back in the day when just before the Reunion tour ever began !!! which was a KISS Convention in New York!!!

If you could see the Headstock on Ace's Gibson Les Paul you'd see half his face in make-up and had the lightning bolt fret markers on the neck because it's his signature guitar from Gibson Which is very cool. He also sang Lead on the second verse because he Write Cold Gin but didn't sing leads on ant songs yet and he asked Gene to sing it.

Damn i love this reaction thing, i relive so much thru you and the flashbacks hits rockhard. It's 20 years after this and little in the backwater, but I Just got a legit backstagepass from a friend saw them for fun Dec 8 1996. (They got to drunk n stoned to use it lol). Cold Gin is a blast fav and somehow i connect it with Black Diamond, 100 000 years, and Parasite, it was a little dirtier garage sound. The album Rock n' Roll Over is great with the catchy lovesong: Hard Luck Woman I Want You Take Me A n d please try out the late, odd but very riff rockin All American Man!

At age 14 I was a member of the KISS Army. To me the only GENUINE KISS is this original lineup. These costumes were the best they ever wore. It is just a shame that in real life Gene is such a coward and greedy bastard. I was crushed to learn that he is in no way "the Demon" he portrays on-stage. I saw the original lineup once and they were awesome. I saw them with Eric Carr and they sucked.
