I was 10 years old when this album came out. By this point, the "Slim Shady EP" had already been out, and it created a firestorm. There were many events in the news around that time all blaming eminem and even marilyn manson for the influence they were having on suburban kids. And growing up in mid michigan, I can't tell you how many kids my age and older had dyed their hair and turned into mini slims. And yes, they were as obsessed as Stan. He has a few songs addressing the various over-the-top fanatic, and this song brings the most dramatic version, he nailed it. The wring, the Dido sample, the end of the 90s sub culture. It all cane together on this one. Hey I just started watching your react videos and they're awesome. I love your energy and I'm enjoying listening with you.

What's insane is the car Stan is driving is the same car on Slim Shady LP cover Its a 1976-1977 monte carlo. Small details only a crazy fan would buy the car from his first big album.

A couple of years ago Eminem sold a beat he made called "Stan's Revenge" as an NFT with some items from this music video. Tom Macdonald won the bid at $200k, and then made a song with that beat called "Dear Slim" and wore the pants and shoes that came with it. It'd be worth checking out, since you just reacted to this music video and Tom Macdonald.
