Ive been listening since his first album and he has grown over the years but you can see why he ended up almost a hermit. The way he uses his voice in this....like an instrument (percussion)! He didn't realize how famous he was in the beginning! Poor guy finally had money to buy a house for his family. So he buys a house in middle class neighborhood.... & they never got a moments rest.... once fans found out where he lived!!! He had to call the police.... because their house was mobbed with fans! Police had to escort them from the house to a vehicle.... to get them the hell out of there! It was insane! He bought an estate that was gated & got security! He went from one of the poorest neighborhoods....scrounging to find change to be able to eat! To all of a sudden being able to go wherever he wanted to but couldn't go!!!

He has “jumped” before Recovery and his fans gave him a soft landing. Listen to Castle and Arose together or at least back to back. If you haven’t heard them Be prepared for a twist. Lol

I did an essay on this song in 9th grade back in like 2000, got an A on it.

I believe this was the 2nd single off his 2nd album. 1st single was The Real Slim Shady. They wanted him to make another My Name Is. I guess he didnt know he had it in him. Cause he end up releasing Real Slim Shady...and other goofy funny songs like that after as his 1st single of the next few albums. Just Lose It is 1. I forgot the title of the other ones. And he did that same thing with his group D12 too.
