Please don't listen to people who say his past five or so albums are 🗑️. In his recent albums he has amazing hits. Also included is apologies to his mom and Kim, Bad Husband & headlights (for his prime songs about them), his take on a toxic relationship (river), his take on being on top (walk on water ft Beyonce, a whole story as to why), an entire song with a double meaning (darkness), The song that ignited the MGK beef(not alike). Him bringing Shady back (Fall) Another messed up slimshady song (Black Magic.) two super song where he flexes his lyrical skills (RapGod & Godzilla) and more... So how is that trash...

Absolutely correct! His style has changed and evolved, but he has put out some incredibly lyrical and mind bending music in recent years. It just takes effort to listen and get all the wordplay, doubles and triples he uses ❤

I'm sure someone else has already explained the "my bum is on your lips my bum is on your lips" bit but I'm not fixing to go through all the comments so here we go lol: that is in reference to a show that a comedian Tom Green had from like '93 or '94 to 2000 or 2001, when absurdist humor was the height of comedy (to some, not all, of course) and he had a song called The Bum Bum Song. By all means, look it up but it's really just annoying as hell imo lol Damn, i feel old now...

my personal opinion, not telling you you're wrong (not something I have the right to do anyway): for me, neither is better. they are merely different, and at different points of evolution in his creativity. I like all of Em's personas, but I take each of them the way they are and listen to the lyrics accordingly. Then and now can't really be compared, kinda like you can't compare NBA ballers from two different eras. That said, all bets are off because everyone has their favorites, so which Em someone likes is their business lol. At any rate, he's supernaturally talented, and if you're nerdy about intricate lyricism, Em is dope af no matter when.🤘🏼

You have to remember that that's subjective, people like different things she might like them I do enjoy his music a bit more from 1997 - 2003 but his music from 2009 and onwards is great as well imo,I definitely want to see her listen to every one of his albums, I'm here for their opinion whether it's positive or negative.
