That's a long rabbit hole you've opened. Check out Caroline live at Donnington 2014 for how they still open their gigs. One of the UK's best ever live bands

I was 16 years old when I watched the band at the Apollo Glasgow in 1976 I can only say it was like a brick hitting me in the face, the whole place erupted and the balcony was moving up and down visibly, I never missed a concert locally for the next 40 years, the material you have now discovered will be never-ending :)

@rodricselbie35: That balcony moving gig has gone down in Quo history. You're really lucky to have been there.

Grossly under rated band. Part of the institution in their native UK, and have been around for decades. Arguably, their best period was between '72 and '76, but they were continually in the charts, often in the top 10 or 20, into the 90's. Their live performances are legendary. Whatever You Want was from 1979, and followed their usual formulaic way of playing, which was their trademark. Hugely popular, but never really deemed at all fashionable, except maybe one week in early 1975, when they managed to top the charts in the UK for one week with, 'Down Down.' I'd love to see a reaction to either, 'Break The Rules', or the album version of, 'Mystery Song.'

It's easy to understand why they were the act that opened Live Aid❤❤

Love how you let the song play through and talk after, that way the song is not ruined

I saw the Quo at Knebworth 1990 as the opening act. After seeing a stunning performance my views on the band changed forever. They wrote electric and really fired up the whole crowd ❤

You can't beat a bit of Quo. They had their sound but they also did some songs that are very different to their norm.

They do a killer version of The Beatles 'Roll over Beethoven. Rick Parfit considered among the greatest rhythm guitarists ever. 'Caroline' from Donington Park will prove that.
