Thank you so much for recommending his song in the order of surprising 😂😂 . Please let me know my next song! He always gives me brand new feelings in each performance.
My third video of Dimash Qudaibergen, the first video was SOS, and the next one was Sinful Passion. I recorded this video a few weeks ago but didn't publish it due to copyright. I'm not patient anymore 🤷‍♂️.

Wow, I forgot to think about the lyrics. Listening to it again, all those words and his expressions make me realize what you mean. I can feel you. It’s like the feelings of being a kid in a strange place during the beginning of the song and the need to really want to know where you belong to eventually, even when you have become an adult . That’s how I feel. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Very nice to see you here, stranger!

Thank you for this emotional reaction😊 The instrument in the beginning of the song is the Kobyz ( or Qobyz). In addition to his phenomenal voice, I love his acting, movements, eye contact, hand gestures, and facial expressions in every performance I've seen. Some are his intentions, some are random but they're all 🔥. Why is he so perfect, the whole package.

Yes, Dimash cannot leave us indifferent, no matter how many times you listen to the same performance. I am kindly envious of your first time now. Да, Димаш не может оставить нас равнодушными, сколько бы раз ни слушаешь одно и то же выступлению. по-доброму завидую сейчас Вашему первому разу.

Wonderful reaction❤. He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Qobyz for that. The Qobyz is a very old two stringed Kazakh folk instrument and it’s wide spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. In the end of Stranger he introduced him to the audience and he thanked them. As a Kazakh he speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently. He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). And the last note he held for 20 seconds. The way he switchs so affortlessly between the different registers and octaves in one song is so mesmerizing and unbelievable. Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him.The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. He wrote this song and others especially for Dimash’s wide vocal range. Please react to Olimpico or also Ogni Pietra from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mtGAhpmlnZrVl2g.html Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

Thank you for the information! The Qobyz does sound very similar to an instrument from Vietnam. I completely agree, his hands are incredibly beautiful and I'm sure he knows it 😂😂

You can hear Dimash's full range demonstrated in his duet with Li Yugang, "Drunken Concubine" + "Diva Dance"--the latter song is the one sung by the blue alien in the Fifth Element (that was supposed to be impossible for a human to sing...but Dimash is an alien, so...)

Next time you can react to his signature and somehow “compulsory” songs. Here they are those videos with english subtitles, good image and sound: * Dimash - Love is like a dream (Alla Pugacheva) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rrJ1hN2X1rXDnGQ.html * Dimash- Olimpico WorldSkills Kazan 2019 (Ogni pietra) KZ_RU_GE_EN SUBS kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fd52oJOY0rm-koU.html At the beginning sounds an old Turkic stringed instrument called Kobys. It is probably the oldest bowed stringed instrument in the world and it spread to became the prototype of all European string instruments as violin an chello. That and the use of the fa minor key in the composition gives the vibe of Middle East /oriental/ exotic sound. Think he´s singing to migrants in general: "New ground far as I can see, new ground underneath my feet, Stranger in a stranger land, new chance to see who I am if I have the strength to begin again"

Hello, I'm going to explain all the scenery. It's not mine, it belongs to a Russian youtuber whose channel is called: Prefessor Georgievsky. Dimash leaves nothing to chance, he gets involved in everything and everything from the beginning has its meaning. At the beginning you see people with black capes, medieval style like their clothes. There are 9 women and 9 men all with lit candles. At the end of all of them is Dimash and if you look closely you see a big round light and another small flash of light. The lyrics as you say is "stranger in the land of strangers". He wants to start over but he also says that this place is familiar to him as if he had been there before but it is supposed to be the first time. When she sings after the chorus and makes those notes, the first one more serious and the second more acute that seems like a baby crying... Then she makes those two very high treble notes and at that moment, the ones with the candles put them all out. Explanation: the 9 men and the 9 women represent the 9 months of pregnancy, whether it is a boy or a girl, the candles are the "lighting". The large final sphere represents the uterus of a pregnant woman and the small flash of light is the embryo... When it makes those sharp notes as if they were crying a baby, they extinguish the candles because the "delivery" or delivery has already taken place, already the child has been born and if we go back to the words of I feel that I know this place that has been before... Meaning: REINCARNATION. In another life he has been reincarnated and lived there, I think in the medieval period and that is why he has the feeling of knowing the place. Knowing this already, you can see it again and everything will fit you. Thank you very much for your reactions. I send you a hug from Malaga, Spain. 😘

Hello, I like Professor Gorgievsky but don't necessarily agree with the explanation. When it shows..... He is saying.... remember he didn't write the words that he is singing, so although he would have approved them, it is still open to interpretation. As I always say, Dimash doesn't explain, so everything he does has a certain meaning but we never know exactly what. It could mean what that interpretation said, or not, imo.

I agree. It's open to interpretation even if Dimash has a certain explanation, people are free to interpret the song in their own ways because we have different perspectives, been through different things. That's the purpose of Art.
