Great point at the end about bands of that era not only having fun in general with their music, but having fun going out to play it. That's the era I grew up and as a musician I can tell you it's the greatest feeling in the world. David Byrne of the Talking Heads once said about playing in a band, If you're not having fun when you're doing it, you shouldn't be doing it.

The Doors was the first concert I ever went to. It was summer of 68, I was 13 (went with my older brothers) and all tickets were $5 each. Also on the venue were The Byrds and Alice Cooper was the opening act.

Jim Morrison died at age 27 Mr Mojo Rison is a anagram for Jim’s name his alter ego some say He was complex The band are all individual genius come together If you are gonna listen to more Doors start at the beginning The late 60s Anything on the Strange Days album will give you a better idea what you are dealing with Video game music indeed

Not sure about 'happiness' during this one. This is their greatest work but Jim was lost to alcohol and the rest of the band was sick of him. I loved them as a teenager but over time this is the only album I come back to. It is full of great songs.
