Red Velvet actually have variety of concepts but basically from their group name they have the "red" and "velvet" concept. Red is mostly the bright, fun, summer bop concepts while, velvet is more mature, RnB and dark concepts. So basically this two MVs right now are one of their velvet concept.

Wendy is the BEST female vocalist of this generation. The fact is that internationally Red Velvet not as popular because their music is sometimes hard to catch up and SM tends to change concepts every comeback. They do a lot of concept like I can't even explain how versatile they are. You might find some of it weird, creepy, aesthetic, girlcrush, cute or whatever it is, they're not afraid of trying something new which sets them apart from other groups.
