Que Creias- she’s telling this guy off asking why he thinks he could come back and she’d be happy with it and Selena performing this song live she would ask a male participant from her audience to come up on stage and she’d tell him off it’s really good one time she pulled a guys tie off when telling him off. Si Una Vez- she’s saying if she once told that guy that he loved her she regrets it and she performs this amazing as well The point is Selena’s just a badass who’s been telling guys off since the 90s love your reaction hope you do more to Selena!

Yes Selena's family is her band. Her sister played the drums but couldn't at this performance I think because of an ankle injury. Her brother wrote, produced, and played bass/guitar for her and her husband played the guitar. They started the group Selena y Los Dinos when they were just kids. I really didn't know a lot about Selena (except the tragic end of her life and a couple of english songs) until I watched the movie Selena with Jennifer Lopez when I was around 10 years old. I loved the songs in the movie so my mom bought me her CD. It didn't matter I didn't know much spanish (I knew hello and goodbye and how to count to 10, but that was it), but the translations were in the CD booklet and it didn't stop me from singing along. I hate when people don't give songs a chance because of the language barrier. Plus the songs Dreaming of You and If I Could Fall In Love are so beautiful. I also really loved Amor Prohibido. I really recommend watching the movie Selena (the ending is so heartbreaking), it's still my favorite Jennifer Lopez movie. A beautiful talented young women whose life was cut too short by a crazy and obsessed woman who claimed to be her friend. RIP Selena.

My first intro to Selena was in high school on the east coast. We watched the movie with Jennifer Lopez during Spanish class and it made me cry. Now I live in Texas and listen to her music all the time!

Her back-up singers were Freddie Corea (left) they recruited him from Barrio Boyzz, a group which Selena worked with a song called "Donde Quiera Que Estes".... and the other singer is Don Shelton (right) who unfortunately died in 2014.

Selena’s husband is the bass player Chris Perez. He also wrote a book about his life with Selena.

Her husband was the guitarist. It’s a song talking about like a flower wilts, like love can wilt away and you have to walk away. So, Yo se perder means I know when I’ve lost but it hurts. It’s pretty deep.

Love this. See, this was back when artists still have a shit about making music videos cool because they were just as important as the song itself. I miss MTV and VH1 still lol. She was such as angel. She stayed behind to sign autographs for fans and take pictures. That’s rare now. I been a huge fan right front the start. Dreamin if you is a great song and it was released just after she died in her honor

Selena’s father found out she was stealing money and confronted her, then Selena went to get some records Yolanda said she had. I can’t think of the entire story well enough to type it. It’s so sad though. I believe her husband Chris played the guitar.
