Let me just say as an African American man, I discovered Selena back in 1997 when I was just 12 years old and the Selena movie came out. I still find it amazing that she was able to communicate with people who don't even speak Spanish. Some people do not understand just how TALENTED of a vocalist she was. The control. The power. The lyrical phrasing. And let's not forget that undeniable stage presence. She was just a true interpreter of song and a true performer! She was indeed...ONE OF A KIND. #RIPQUEEN

Selena was such a natural performer. I almost couldn’t believe she was non-stop during this concert. I mean it was live on Univision. I did not watch it live and I so regret it. I was probably working and didn’t set my VCR. I’m sure my late Dad was watching Selenita !!

Believe it or not ,I’ve only recently discoverd all about Selena (I know right I am completely sheltered) but wow it’s so bitter sweet just watching and listening to her knowing the fatality that is, what happened to her. I love your content, especially when you do Selena!. In all of the astrodome's Selena never wore an ear piece, not once stopped to drink water, and danced while performing live. Not singing in top of a track or a prerecorded anything, she did it live y'all!. Singing without an ear piece monitor is so hard especially in a big stadium like that where there's a delay in the sound. She was one of a kind! love her forever and always. Thank you for your videos! Side Note: Is gray your favorite color?

She was really the female latina version of Michael Jackson. Started young as he did with a strict father, and had it all. She had the beauty, the image, the personality, the singing, the dancing, the energy that was bigger than life and with all that, so humble. Such a tragic, unfair loss at only 24 years old. Andy, we as Latinos ask for you to watch the 1997 Selena movie with Jennifer Lopez, it’s such an accurate portrayal of her life and herself, even looks and acts just like her. The movie is a masterpiece itself. IT WILL MAKE YOU CRY.

I imagine that it has not been easy to react to this kind of song, because the melody does not offer such great difficulty, but you have made the maximum possible out of this reaction, very very good!
