Hi Ken, No she doesn’t like ants 😂 It really is a great truck overall. The decision for us was based on a number of factors, not just tow capabilities. I wish the payload capacity was a little higher just for peace of mind. I wish tow capacity was higher again for piece of mind. BUT we knew the trailer we wanted before getting the Titan so we knew we’d be within our capabilities. Aside from that, the Titan is so much more truck for the money compared to the big 3 and the warranty is quite good. I have seen variations of active suspension on several different platforms-mostly cars, of course. I’m considering air bags for additional support while towing, but we have plans to do some overlanding and I think air may not be practical-I suppose we can air out in those instances though…

Congrats on your upcoming adventures! I also have a 21 pro4X and recently bought a bumper pull travel trailer. I am maxed out on my payload with a 5k trailer empty and 650 lb tongue weight. How much payload do you have left. FYI airbags will do nothing to help with payload. Having the proper hitch height and a weight distribution hitch will go a long way for how the truck squats when loaded. I am leaning on shopping for an XD for better payload.
