My dad always held it over my mom who was a big elvis fan, we had so many LP's and 45's.....but he saw Elvis in '55 in Vancouver BC and she never did get to see him. She is gone now, last december....but I toasted her with a beer, said I loved her and this video was for her. From west coast Canada 🇨🇦, peace.

Elvis was a rebel, maybe the most loved rebel of all because he catered to YOUTH in his and apparently EVERY GENERATION! It was never "cool" to listen to Elvis because of human hate -- and THAT is precisely what makes it AMAZING to be a Presley fan! Regardless the generation! He was all about UNITY.

You should check out One Night Of Sin by Elvis. It was censored to One Night With You for white audiences. I’m not joking. The original is way better. Big Long Slidin’ Thing by Dinah Washington is 1930s raunch. You’ll see what musicians were creating back then. 😂

Remember this movie very well. Now how about comparing this version w-his version from his '68 Comeback special stand-up segment in black leather at kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bp1-abSSlaqbe40.html -- at 1:50 he flubbed the lyric a little, laughed to himself & kept on going -- it's a rousing rendition & interesting to see the difference between the two. Thx so much.
