I make videos about all things horsey such as Vlogs with the ponies, horse care videos and edits of me riding to help other equestrians learn more about these beautiful animals as you never stop learning with horses. :)

I ride both and very competitive rider!! I have 62 ribbons and I've only been showing for 3 years! Also I have won 4 buckles, my horses name is Diamonds an Guns, shes actually on KZfaq. If you want to watch type in your search bar Diamonds an Guns horse and she should be the 1 or 2 one and that was when she was 4!! Im so proud to own her and shes absolutely amazing I'm so luvky to have her!! Shes very special! Just to add im not trying to brag,

I am so glad that you had the chance to ride western! I usually ride my lease horse western, but recently I have also been riding him english and I have seen a big difference in him. He loves the chance to try both disciplines, and he loves to game in western and loves to jump and do some basic dressage exercises in his English tack! Both disciplines are so important and bring different characteristics to your horses. All horses and riders should have the chance to experience both western and English riders!

I love how the ladie who ran the barn let you tack up so you could learn! I also love how there so well fed and cared for and its not the kind of place that keeps the horses tacked up and in a stall. Great video!

are used to ride at a place that kept horses in a stall that were really skinny and old and they came from a rescue place because they were abused before but now I switch to know I’m actually happy at the place I am

I’ve been riding western for most of my life and haven’t ridden English very much but I’m doing lessons on English. But for me the English saddle is more comfortable for me 😂😂

Same! I much prefer riding in an English saddle. Had a couple horses try to pop me off at one point or another. The one that succeeded was wearing a Western saddle. XD

I’m a western rider (I do English sometimes) and this just warmed my heart. I really enjoyed this. 💙 they tack up differently as well. I usually put my stirrup on the horn and hook everything else onto the saddle so it doesn’t get stuck under the saddle when I put it on :)

It can be very confusing they do it a lottle dif then i would i personally dont use the flank strap and i tie the latigo in a knot and i use cinch extenders

It’s weird to think some people haven’t ridden western lol, I ride western but have tried jumping before in English. It’s fun, a lot of people say it’s so much easier than English but I think they are both equal, when it really just fun is when you do rodeo or western show sports, I hate when you say western and people say Oh Trail riding?! I think you should try working cow or western pleasure, those are my favs

I ride English and western but I mainly do English show jumping. I saw this and was like “omg one of my idols is so close to me!!” I’m in Oklahoma. I also started to train a western horse to jump and when I did his eyes just lit up I was so happy because before I got his he was abused. And I wanted to tell you about reining it’s kind of like the western version of dressage. Loved the video and keep up the good work.

I REALLY LOVE English saddles but Western takes a HUGE place in my heart since it was the type of saddle I had in my first lessons!

Esme, I'm so very happy and excited for you that you went and rode western!! I've ridden western but not as much now as I've been riding English hehe, but I'm so very happy for you! I just love how much support you put into you own animals, I love how much you care for Casper, Mickey, Toby, Bruno and Willow. I have a horse myself and I love him with all my heart, and I can just see how much love just radiates from your smile. I can really tell your one of the most dedicated Animal owner I have ever seen. I watch your channel all the time, I live in America and I just love how most things are called different things in the UK than they are in the US Headcollers are Haulters Sliders are Slippers and so much more. ♥️ some things are the same like Saddle,Half Pad, Saddle Pad ect, and I love LOVE how neat your tack room is, very neat and tidy, I just live your channel and just how much love you have for your animals and others. I can see how much love you have every time you smile. It just melts my heart. ♥️♥️❣❣❣🖤🖤🖤🐴🐎🐎♥️♥️♥️

I was so excited to see Esme ride western since that's what I ride and I loved watching her learn doing the saddle because it's familiar to me. Watching her doing the English saddle is so foreign to me.

I appreciate a lot of what your host walked you through as you were tacking up! Not tight girthing with the latigo, allowing the back girth to not be so tight, setting the pad a little far forward (because gravity will slide it back into its proper place once the saddle is on). Well done!
