FIRST TIME USING NEW SKATES

Күн бұрынHello everyone! Sorry it has been months since I uploaded. Anyways I got my first pair of skates they are the Edea Overture and skated in them for the first time,the blades felt like they were biting the ice because they were really sharp.I made two skater friends the Yuri coser and the girl that the Yuri coser was helping,there was a convention near so there were some cosplayers in the rink.
I hope to continue skating lessons again in the future and will film progress videos when I get back to it!💕

Imone!OnIce I’m super excited too!! The realization of not having to use rentals or hire skates anymore and owning your own pair of skates is really nice. Can’t wait to get on the ice again💕⛸

When i got my new pair skate, i couldn't glide backward, its so hard 😭😭😭😭

I mostly had a hard time with the blades since it was really sharp like how it bit the ice and had to dull it by skating so I could actually glide properly ;-;

@@rozatoru I could actually glide forward (but couldn't stop plz help) when i touch ice with my new pair skate, and i was so frustated how to do backward glide 😭 you got any tips?

Nahya Alfina Do you know how to do a snowplow stop if you don’t I recommend searching some tutorials since it helps. And for gliding backwards put your weight on the middle to front part of your blade and you can also try doing backward swizzles and wiggles ^^

@@rozatoru i can actually do snowplow stop when i was using my rental skates (idk why its hard to scrape the ice with my new pair of skate 😭)

Nahya Alfina I think you have to break in your skates like skate in them more so they will be more comfortable and so you get used to them so you’ll be able to do the elements you were able to do before.

try bending your knees more and putting your legs right under your shoulders for the crossovers, it will help!

Figure Skating Stan Sadly,I don’t have Ice Fly but I have Edea Overture because it’s a beginner boot and Ice Fly would be too stiff for my level.Yep they do look amazing I’d love to have my own pair of Ice Fly when I advance more in the future!!

nikka cassandra For Edea Overture I bought it for Php25k including the blade from In2Skating located at Phoenix Pasay near Hotel 101 ^^

I got them from In2Skating located at Phoenix Pasay near Hotel 101. Now they also have a store at the rink in Moa ^^
