I really cannot wait until y'all get to seasons 4 & 5. Cause that's when she'll get SOME answers, but also more confusion. The faces she's gonna be making will be plenty entertaining if the current ones are an indication.

That blink and you miss it Jacob cameo had me conspiracy theorying about how much he looked like John with long hair… that was my first Jacob impression- that it was probably a future version of Locke.

Ben & Locke were my favourite characters. The guy who played Ben is a tremendous actor.

The Brig!!! Can't wait to see her watch this! Possibly the most satisfying scene, for me, in the entire series. The weight visibly lifting off of James. And the profound gratitude on Locke's face, toward James. ♡♡♡

Lost is like a puzzle... often, the prettiest or most interesting pieces don't come together until near the end.

The Brig is in my top 10 episodes. Closure for locke and Sawyer. Can‘t wait for next week‘s season 3 finale.

Well there was a guy in a chair in the cabin, but he didn't look or sound like Jacob at all... At the first time I was totallly sure that Jacob is only in the Ben's head. :)

The last five episodes of this season are some of the best. And my first reaction to the cabin scene… I’ll admit, I hit rewind a few times and you can definitely see another figure in there with Ben and John.

Remeber that Ben sacrificed his father to be part of them and for the island. There is as far as I know no such rule, but Ben ofcourse set Locke up here, showing that Ben do what needs to be done.

You’re gonna have to rewatch this show atleast 2 more times to get a grip on what’s going on. The writing is very clever(haven’t seen another show on Lost’s level of writing honestly) contrary to what you often mention as the writers making stuff up as they go along or something like that😅. You really need to remember everything, even the smaller moments, all the details.

Recap: some people are on an island. ps: asking "what do you think happens next?" is a terrible question. This show is far too chaotic for predictions. A better question would be "if you were a writer, what would you have happen next?"

@Marcus the mental activity of thinking what i would write is much more straightforward than predicting what someone else would write. Trying to predict involves wondering about being accurate to someone else's ideas. Thinking of what you would write does not.

I remember making fun of this show when it first released. I said to a mate who was a fan “It’s just a hour long version of Giligans Island”. Then l caught an episode of season 4 or 5 when all the shit went crazy and l loved. So l had to back catalogue the hole series. Now it’s one of my all time favourite shows.

Every episode Mr: what's gonna happen? Mrs: No idea To be fair we had little to no idea too, and 99.99% of us got it totally wrong. Also Mrs movies tends to tell us what she's thinking or may happen anyway during the episode. You've got to come up with a better way to get mrs movies thoughts during the episode and leave the whats going to happen question to the post viewing discussion.

The Richard character is really fascinating. Especially when you get to know a little more about him, and why you see him in so many flash backs, no matter how long ago the flash back was. You could probably make a series all about him and his connection to the Island. The character Jacob, for me, was sort of disappointing. Especially later on, when you actually learn about him.

@@My-Name-Isnt-Important spoiled that Jacob is real, or at least that's the implication. At this point of the show it is really up in the air as to what is even going on. Also, it's simply a spoiler to say that we learn fascinating things about Richard because it means he will be prominent. That one is whatever, but I feel like what you said is along the lines of hyping up a certain episode, kinda ruining the surprise of a good episode or character development.

@@marty13612 It's clear you've seen the series, which is why you know the things mentioned, but someone who hasn't wouldn't really be given anything about future episodes. The only thing about Jacob was I was disappointed. By you commenting what you've said, you've given far more information and confirmed things I only mentioned. Which at this point in the series, anyone would know they're going to give more info on the characters they've shown. It's how the show has played out so far, all the way to these episodes.

i love and hate watching this episode because again the writers did not plan ahead so our first encounter with jacob was long hair bearded guy chained or trapped in the chair wanting to get out , ok cool ... then down the road it's like uhm yea that def wasn't jacob and him being trapped and needing help to get out made absolutely no sense and was never explained ,,, seen people hinting that that was maybe suppose to be christian or even horace which neither make sense and did not look like either of them as well , i guess horrace possibly but yea no ,,,, for me this was the writers biggest blunder and they knew it because they never explained any of it

Actually, our first encounter with 'Jacob' DOES show forward planning on the writers' part. It's completely obvious who is in the chair when you think about the scene in this cabin later on (just before it was deliberately set on fire). As well as the interactions/reactions of the people who set it on fire. Add in the brief flash of a figure we see in this episode, who does, in fact, look like Christian (I don't see the long haired guy you mention at all). Also, think about the fact that the voice said "help me" (now who needs help because he is trapped, I wonder) and it's all blindingly clear who is in the chair in this scene. It's not at all clear to Ben though. He genuinely does think it's Jacob. But, as we all know, Ben (the great manipulator) gets manipulated too (think Alex and Locke). Also think about who is in the cabin with Claire when Locke goes back there later...again, it's Christian. Only, as we know, it isn't, of course. Someone has been using this cabin for a long time and that person isn't Jacob. C'mon, don't blame the writers just because you haven't been paying enough attention.

Hey man, we have been through 3 seasons now and you still are asking the same obvious and boring question to your lady..."whats gonna happen?" She is getting frustrated and she wil end up dropping the show if you dont put more effort in the way you guide her through the mysteries.
