Q: Why is the video in TWO Parts?
A: Copyright reasons. I can show more of the movie to you guys within multiple parts. Depending on the movie I might do THREE parts or sometimes just ONE.
Q: Why is a small portion of the video completely muted?
A: Copyright reasons. Sometimes I get hit with copyright claims AFTER the video has already been posted, my only choice is to refute the claim but if KZfaq denies it, I have to either take down the video or mute the small portion they are claiming. If the video has been up for a while, it is much easier for me to mute this small portion in the YT studio and then unmute it months later after people aren't watching the video as much.
Q: Why is the movie not as loud as I want it to be, why can't you show more of it uncut?
A: Copyright reasons. Notice a pattern here? Most of your questions will likely be answered with some type of copyright related reason.
Q: Why is the movie footage flipped?

You know I found out on a podcast Jennifer Love Hewitt was on that the iconic but ridiculous scene of her standing in the street with her arms out and how it's a shot from above was the idea of a 10-year-old or something who won a contest to direct a scene it wasn't even supposed to be in the movie 😂

Sarah Michelle Gellar is one of my favorite Actresses, grew up watching her show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'd highly recommend watching that when you get a chance. First season is kind of rough to get through though tbh, but it gets so much better as you go on.

Fun fact: The movie was originally very different, but the script got leaked and they rewrote it. Originally the killers were going to be her roommate Hallie, her boyfriend Derek and…Cotton! It was basically going to be Cotton masterminding the whole revenge thing for his 15 minutes of fame, killing the other 2. And they would’ve played up “it can’t be her boyfriend again” but yep, that was the trick. It was the people closest in her new college life that had inserted themselves with ill intent.

I've had this theory for as long as I can remember regarding to the car scene. I believe Mickey was knocked out originally but when Sid hit the horn I think it woke him up but pretended to still be knocked out. So that way the girls mostly Sidney were out of the car since he wasn't allowed to actually kill her and for her to be lure to the theater building for Ms. Loomis. Because he got out WAY to quickly after they did and then did like a syke trick making them think they are safe just to turn around and Kill Hallie to mess with Sid mentally and emotionally even more.

I was so excited that you took the advice of us fans to check out at least Scream 2 asap that I became a member of your Patreon! I'm so excited! Little known fact: When Jada was being stabbed in the stomach in the opening scene, she was unaware that she was actually pregnant with Jaden Smith! Best reaction (cause I always point these out) 19:04 Lower your expectations for Scream 3. They had to throw out the script weeks before filming because of the Columbine massacre and studio pressure. It is as good of a movie as they could've made!

@@MovieFusion You didn't know that was Jada Pinkett-Smith? lol She was extremely popular in the 90's, and was always the main character and "Final Girl" in all of her movies. They promoted the movie with her face on the poster, as they've done with Drew Barrymore in the original. Her being a very popular actress (just like Drew) and losing her "final girl streak" had a huge impact because audiences anticipated her as being the opening kill and they were excited to see that.

Some fun facts for you. 1. During CiCi (Sarah Michelle Gellar) scene there's quite a few things happening. She was talking to Selma Blair on the phone before she talked to ghostface and in between. They co-stared in "Cruel Intentions" together and when they were talking on the phone they were talking about Bailey on "Party of Five" which was the tv series that Neve Campbell (Sidney) was doing during all of the three Screams. Also, Jennifer Love Hewitt was also in "Party of Five" as Baileys girlfriend thats who they were talking about regarding to a break up. Which she also co-star in IKWYDLS with SMG. She also turned on a vampire movie as a reference to her Buffy. Sarah Michelle Gellar was very busy in 97 she was doing this, I know what you did last summer and 2nd season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. - Neve was also really busy in the late 90's. Same year Scream 96 came out her and Skeet Ulrich (Billy) did "The Craft" together, she was doing her tv series "Party of Five" and also filmed "Wild Things" with Kevin Bacon and Matt Dillon in 97 the same year Scream 2 came out. Courtney Cox was doing "Friends" the whole time she was doing "Scream, Scream 2 and 3. 2. Yes when Randy mentioned about Gales nude pictures and how her head was on Jennifer Aniston body it was a funny towards "Friends". Aswell with David Schwimmer playing Dewey in Stab especially since he plays Ross as Monica's (Courtney Cox) brother on "Friends". 3. Originally it was supposed to be Ms. Loomis hiring Derek and Hallie as the killers and Mickey as the supportive friend but it got leaked so they changed it to Ms. Loomis and Mickey as the killers

Other 90s "horror" movies you should totally watch: The Faculty (1998), Interview With The Vampire (1994), Sleepy Hollow (1999), I know what you did last summer (1997), Anaconda (1997), The Mummy (1999) and Dracula (1992). It was so depressing seeing him die like that. Originally, Wes Craven showed the MPAA an extended version of his death, showing Randy having his throat slashed in explicit detail but it got watered down into the scene we all know now as one of the most devastating moments of the franchise.

The original Scream 2 script was leaked online and they had to quickly scramble to change the killers in the end. The original script saw Derek, Hallie and Mrs. Loomis. Loomis was supposed to kill Derek & Hallie and then she’d be killed by Cotton. The script didn’t read as well to me (you can find it online) and I’m happy they ended up having to change it!

I love these movies, I really like Scream 3, it seems to be the weaker one, most don't like it, I personally enjoy it. The only thing really bad in Scream 3 was Courtney Cox's hair 🤪🤣

Oh and Matthew Lillard (Stu) He had an uncredited cameo appearance as "Guy at Party" @ the frat party in Scream 2.. Him and Neve started dating while filming Scream and were together for little over 2 years. He would come visit on set all the time so they made him a extra lol. You can barely see him it's a little blurred you just see a blond hair cause that what he had lol and can hear him talking to someone in the background. If you look it up on Google there are pictures that points him out and then anytime you go back and watch you can easily find him

From what I heard, Hallie and Derek were originally Mrs. Loomis' accomplices. They were also supposed to be secretly dating each other behind Sidney's back. Someone leaked the script online so a good portion of the film had to be rewritten. I think Mickey was supposed to be killed like halfway through the movie, and that's why he was missing for such a large portion of the film.

Yeah Derek and Hallie were a secret couple that Mrs loomis manipulated to get her revenge. Dewey is campus security! Randy is Gales caraman and Joel is a student. Sidney actually finds Cici"s body hanging from a tree like cases. Derek's frat brother prank happens to mickey instead and he's tied to a tree by his bros and sidney finds him after the car crash scene and tries to release him from the chains...but two ghostfaces show up at the same time and mickey saves sid but is killed as he can't escape escape his chains. This is the scene I was most gutted about being changed. Also gale gets a pretty nifty call from ghostface which made a nice change, sid and randy go to see Stab at the movies to bitch about it and the ending is very ambiguous as to whether cotton is also in on the killings and whether anyone actually survives the massacre.

Mickey is played by Timothy Olyphant. He was a supporting actor for a bit, but then he was Hitman, the lead in the remake of the horror/zombie movie "The Crazies," which I thought was pretty good as far as those types of films go. Then more recently he was the lead in a FX series called "Justified" which is loved by fans and critics alike. He's reprising the same role in a limited, 8 episode series(Justified: City Primeval), playing a 15 year older version of the same character: Deputy US Marshal Raylan Givens. It's a great series. The first season sort of gets everything going so it's a little episodic at first, but then it picks up towards the end of the season once the players and such have all been established. Then seasons 2-4 are fantastic, with a slight dip for season 5, but then it comes back in the 6th final season. I highly recommend for anyone that likes that sort of crime/drama with a neo-western vibe. If it helps, I'm pretty sure every episode is ranked over an 8. If you haven't really hear of it, it's probably because it was on at the same time that GoT, Breaking Bad, and Walking Dead were. I haven't watch either of those shows, but I watched Justified. It's so good.

So, when this came out I picked out the killer immediately! A) The song playing at the very beginning (the Stab movie theater scene) was D’Angelo’s cover of a PRINCE song “SHE’S Always In My Hair”. (I’m a HUGE Prince fan.) So, I instantly thought, a female this time. B) The addition of an Emmy Award winning actress like Laurie Metcalf (from “Roseanne”) wouldn’t be playing a minor role. She had to be very important. BAM! Figured it out instantly! Great movie! Fun series.

So for in this movie it's a pretty easy of a break down on which killer did what. Ms. Loomis was only interested in Gale obviously since she was constantly on her heals lol and Sidney but she couldn't risk Sidney seeing her till she was ready. Gale because she literally wrote a book about her son and how she helped Sidney to kill her beloved angel of a son lol. Sidney for also obvious reason cause she did kill her son and her mom was what broke her family. Dewey was a collateral he was someone that Gale really cared for like how Billy was someone she cared for. Randy was never the target he didn't play any critical role in her son's death it was meant for Gale hense the statement "why are you even here Randy". But he answered her phone and talked bad about her son so she got knife happy. Mickey was the actual copy cat he gave the tickets to Phil Steven's and Maureen. Also killed CiCi, obviously Hallie and Derek. He was only allowed to torment Sidney which he did mentally but she was to be left alive for Ms. Loomis to act on her revenge

Your reaction at the mother reveal! 😂 FYI Randy, Dewey and Gale were all going to die in the original draft and there’d have been 3 killers - Mrs Loomis, Derek and Halle, AND it would have abruptly ended with Cotton trying to kill Sidney and them falling on to the stage with a thud. I love Scream 2 as it is but wonder if it did go down that route, how ballsy would that have been?!

If u watch closely when they first show the van door open after Randy is killed it focuses on a lipstick kiss mark on Randy’s hand. Its just a split second flash. Funny the police didnt notice it and focus on it. Also the killer is always tall, lol, doesn’t seem to make a difference as to who the killer is though.

Like Scream 3, there were a number of re-writes, changes, and misdirection. The internet in 1997 was apparently just, if not more ravenous than today. hahah Apparently for Scream 3, there is a theory that the Sidney actress in the Stab 3 film (the one the real Sidney found in the washroom stall) was going to be a second killer. Not certain if that was the original intention and was changed, or if its just a fan theory that has taken on a sort of 'reality'.

@@j2174 Yes you were correct about multiple scripts. The original script was going to be Stu coming back that he survived the tv and had been in prison and orchestrated a cult to go after Sidney. Roman the half brother story was literally the last minute change. Just before they started filming the 3rd the Columbine shooting massacre happened and it hit to close to home so they were forced to scrap that storyline because of it and that's why the kills weren't that extreme as the other movies. It was a rough time when that happened for the horror cinema. So they changed it to Roman and Angelina as the killers where Angelina went to high-school with Sidney. But they had to change it again while filming and left it only being Roman as the solo killer. That's why in some scenes Angelina was really sketchy. In the movie they brought up a lot on how scripts kept getting changed for Stab 3. Well they where also making fun with it because of the amount of times they had to change the script between Scream 2 and 3.

3:35 you are kind of right. It was loosely based on Ed Gein, who was also the inspiration for the Psycho novel by Robert Bloch (which obviously was adapted by Alfred Hitchcock in 1960 and Buffalo Bill in Silence Of The Lambs. Ed Gein was a murderer and body snatcher who killed two people and dug up corpses from graveyards to make human furniture and clothing. According to himself, when he saw a woman on the street he was more likely to think what her decapitated head would look like on a stick, rather than if he would ask her out or not. He was known as the Butcher of Plainfield and the Plainfield Ghoul.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is especially famous for playing Buffy Summers in the tv series Buffy the vampire slayer. Great actress. I also loved her in the movie cruel intentions.

I remember watching this in the theatre at the premiere, and this scene is MADE for in theatre viewing. I was looking behind my seat a lot in this opening scene, psyching myself out! It was great! It was a great opposed argument to the first one, to give the other side of Nature vs Nurture. And PS for the real events, every one of Wes Cravens films are based on real events. You can find the original news articles online from the events, and even see all the interviews Wes did with in relation about the events to his films.

New here, Love your reactions! Really excited I came when you're doing the scream franchise. It's one of those franchises that's completely meta which is why I love Wes craven. It's essentially a satire on the genre and it's the best part of the films. It manages to be a successful slasher franchise and a successful satire. Which is why the third one doesn't bother me like it does most people. Yes out of the four of them it's not the best one but it is probably the funniest one. I still find joy in it because people forget that it's not just a slasher film. And it is crucial in Sydney's story.

I actually saw this one before the first : it came in french theatres the summer I turned 16. I was so hyped I wrote a fanfiction, not about a 3rd opus, which I knew was already in production, but a 4th one. The funny thing, is when I made it read by some friends, they all told me it was too much alike the first one. Other funny thing, you made a joke about Dewey ending up paralysed... well. It was also what I thought, so I made him stuck in a wheelchair.

If you notice the killer was calling Gale, not Randy, they only killed Randy because he started bad mouthing Billy and it was his mother who was the killer who killed Randy.

at the time this was going on Sarah Michelle Gellar was primarily doing Buffy the Vampire Slayer and occasionally appearing the joint series Angel too. That was where she made most of her legacy and name. But she did do a few other things. She was in Scream 2, she was in one of the I Know What You Did Last Summers (the first one i think), she also was in Cruel Intentions and Scooby Doo 1 and 2 as Daphne. She was also later in the Grudge and the Grudge 2 (although she was killed off at the beginning of Grudge 2 as per the story). But Buffy has always been her most infamous role...people will always know her for that.
