For the 'healthy' comments - these meals are supposed to be cheap and cheerful. If you're struggling to fill bellies, then things like this could be a life saver. They're not made to be healthy. They're made to be filling and suit all budgets, especially for people struggling to feed their families. Would I buy these? Almost certainly not, but if i had £2 to last me until money hit my bank account and i needed to feed the kids, then absolutely! Full bellies = happy kids.

For a quid a person Deano these are lifesavers for people struggling. Even put it into 4 portions if things are that bad with some bread

Branded isn't always better though Deano. Having a look at the birds eye ingredients, same sort of fish, same weight, but only 51% fish. Less of a percentage than the Iceland own brand.

Been eating my way through their £1 pies and bakes. Had the Vegetable Balti Bakes for lunch today, absolutley delicious. Chicken & Bacon Pies my favourite in the range so far.

The fish is nice I had mine with a 75p chicken n mushroom pot noodle cheap tasty dinner.

why not cook the chips in the air fryer (mini oven) add the fish save energy ???

Alaskan Pollock is an ok fish. Vietnamese River cobbler ( Bassa ), avoid at all costs , It's disgusting.

I thought that was a banging meal for the price. For £2 I’d scoff the lot as one meal. That’s the reason I’m overweight. I also like pollock so it suits me. You made it look delicious Deano. Keep up the good work with your diet but to be honest I think you look great as you are. 👍
