Michele, you have literally just verbalised exactly how I feel. You are definitely not alone in your thoughts. Its almost like the rose tinted glasses have come off and I can see through all of the consumerism, advertisements, and the general way that people in the western world like to live. I am not saying i'm perfect as I am constantly learning and growing, but how I feel has definitely distanced myself from the people in my life and society as a whole. I can completely relate to you. I am yet to find my tribe so in the mean time I am just practicing accepting who I am and owning it. Saying to myself that what makes me happy doesn't have to make sense to anyone else.

Hi. I don’t know you, I just stumbled upon this video (was led?). But I have also felt the things you are describing. I’ve always felt like an outsider. It is my firm belief that we are always right where we need to be at any given moment, even if we don’t know why from our human perspective. So I can’t help but think that we are on assignment - like the areas/situations we find ourselves in need our energy for some reason. We’re not supposed to belong, but it still hurts to be told we don’t belong. I think we’re supposed to be different so we can show a new way of being. New is always feared and mocked, until people can wrap their heads around it. I think validating ourselves might just be a huge lesson for us in this life. There’s a reason being in nature (even looking at the color green!) reduces BP. We’re way-showers, which can be lonely. But luckily I get these little moments of connection with those more similar to me 💕
