Graeme travelled to Ireland using the STENA Fishguard to Rosslare route which takes approx 3 hours check their website at www.stenaline.co.uk/ However, the weather didn't play ball with storm like conditions. So Graeme adapted and fished from the car! He set the rods up just outside the car, then sat in the car whilst the heavens opened and he could see his rod tips from the front sea. Whenever there was a bite, he was straight out and onto the rods! This was a really tough fishing session, with strong winds, rain and plenty of weed to contend with. But Graeme goes through his tactics and shows you the rigs and set-up he uses.

Hi guys. I owe my life to you. I was in a very bad time of my life having lost my wife and daughter in a tragic car crash, so i turned to alcohol, started watching your AWESOME show and I was hooked. Hi Lee, Thanks for taking the trouble to send in your comment.Its something like this that makes all the work we do, time, effort, finance etc totally worthwhile.There are some things you cannot put a value on, and if even one of our films has helped someone through a rough patch then it gives me a reason to keep on making them. I know there are some others out there we have apparently aided as over the years we have had them contact us by private emails. I am just pleased that you may have turned a corner with your life. Making a change is not easy. But you have shown an inner strength and acknowledged that whatever trauma you may have been through, now is the time to pull it together and move on. When anyone gets down in our family we have a saying...."Think ARMY !!" Tough it out, and move onward. And make sure you don't miss this coming Friday's episode...for this one we have gone totally off the scale !!... I imagine it won't be too long before the men in white coats arrive to cart me off !...Stay lucky. Graeme & Mike.

I hava has some of my best ever fishing in near storm condition ,Anstruther pier/Scotland November about 15yrs ago...waves comer over the 4 meter high wall and I am siting in the car watching the rods ..catches my biggest Cog 8kg best fishing night I have had.

Been watching T.A fishing show for few weeks now. Absolutely love it. totally interesting from beginning to end. Graeme and his son are superb at hosting these videos. At last, fishing videos that are not boring. Fantastic humour as well.Well done guys

Good vid! It just goes to show, REAL fishermen, fish in all kinds of weather! A few years ago, I was fishing from the Public Dock, in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA, in a torrential downpour, and I caught the biggest catfish I ever seen! I don't know much it weighed, but it was almost 7' long. It also was the BEST tasting catfish I ever ate! It took two of us to get it into the back of my small lorry.(Ford Ranger 4x4).

Dog fish are known as rock eel in London chip shops, fantastic eating fish. Never seen it in any chip shops outside of London area, shame as i now live in the Midlands and miss it so much. Nice vid Graham

I will never forget a few years ago. Me and my children were crab fishing. We always used bacon fat. Well there was a few fisherman casting out at some range. Then my Daughter says "dad something's wrong" I ran over and could see her little arm twitching like mad as she was pulling with all her might with a £3 crab kit I promise this is 100% true. She pulled out a nice size silver/black fish. THe fisherman could not believe it. Its some time ago. Im sure they said it was a bass. (sorry not a sea fisherman) They had been fishing for a while catching nothing. We gave a fisherman some bacon and we left. With my daughter talking about it all the way home.

Hi graham. You should try Tooman fisheries in Ireland. It's such a fabulous spot and you really enjoy it. It's more to the north west of the country.

For a video you should do beach fishing video but with carp tactics like boilies and particle with chod rigs or helicopter rigs !

I cant believe I haven't seen this video until today. I was fishing in the exact same spot, on the same crappy weather, with my missus, from my car, exactly the same, about 4 months ago. The resemblance is uncanny. I also live in Kinsale, so this video got straight to being my favorite from your channel :)) Do you have any other videos from Ireland (south coast especially) ? I only saw 2, which were tutorials on how to get bait. I'd love to watch them all. Cheers Graeme!

Hi. Love your shows, I've been fishing all my life, but unfortunately I have terminal cancer, and I can't do the walking round pools bit anymore, I was talking to my son about loading a few bits of tackle, sleeping bags and food into the car and trying a bit of sea fishing like this. Any tips regards places to go that are safe, and free to fish? I live in the midlands, but traveling is no problem. Cheers and keep up the great work

Don't know that area at all ,but look for a local sea fishing club in the area you are thinking of going and see what ideas they can come up with. Maybe some pier fishing ? Or harbour fishing where access is flexible. Might be somewhere along the North Wales coastline that could work.Good luck with your quest and send Mike a picture if you do hookup with something good.

The amount I learn from these videos is insane, but Graeme, one problem I have is broken rod ring inserts and you are the king of repairing broken gear, do you have any videos on repairing ring inserts, and if so, could you please share the link for me? I hate to throw away my OG beach rod that's been with me from the beginning of my sea fishing adventures in Dorset, down on Chesil, I really want to repair it but have no idea what I'm doing as this is the first beach rod that's got to this state so no idea what to do, sadly a few drops of the rod on chesil left me with a few cracked inserts on those big pebbles...

Just take it into your local tackle shop.If they cannot do it for you they may well know a rod builder that can.

You can't. There are no distributors in the UK and Salt Life do not ship beyond the US, Canada and Hawaii. I did email the company and this was confirmed. I eventually purchased a baseball cap from the US via ebay, but it was overpriced and the limited choice of clothing was not to my taste or sizing.

No,I am actually OK fishing alone.Sometimes just go out to sea in my boat on my tod. Started writing with first article in 1968,and I guess I go into my own little "zone" when fishing on my own.The filming keeps me occupied as constantly thinking of camera angles/shots etc .KZfaq films were just a bit of fun that has gone completely off the scale for us.Plenty more to come hopefully,our whiteboard is nearly full.
