A day for the history books, ladies and gents. Although this wasn't a dedicated filming trip, I had to turn it into an episode because it turned out to be the best day fishing I've had in a long time. After some problematic scratching from the rocks, I found a pocket of white musselcrackers in a frenzy and with it came a new personal best of 15 kg!!

Once you've learnt how slowly these fish grow, and how old they get, it gets scary when you start catching them like this. You soon realise that with the wrong intention we can take hundreds and thousands of years out of SAs fishery.
