This review is totally on point. I am playing it right now and have never watched the anime or played a Yakuza game. It's slow to start and plays a bit like a PS2 game but it's great. Hidden gem for sure.

Not to seem like an asshole here but did you play Yakuza 0 or Kiwami? Lost paradise uses the exact same engine, gameplay and dialogue styles from those games. Nice review tho...

I just bought it for ten bucks on Ps store! Definitely a must buy! Imo better than Yakuza 0, especially the brutal finishers while in Yakuza you cant actually kill any bad guys

Ah my bad, I did wonder his age when I typed my comment but when I heard the “ATATATAT” in the background, I thought it was. Ken doesn’t really talk much so I just wondered if they used old voice clips or something. Thanks though :)

I felt like the English dub actually did a good job, almost better and I always go for the Japanese voice overs usually
