Great review! I'm looking into getting one, I have the Fit Bit Versa 2 that I love, but I have tiny wrists, and would love something a little less bulky on my casual days.

Hi Malin :) and that sounds like a great idea... In fact I currently do that. I use a Fitbit tracker for sleep primarily and a Garmin watch for everything else.

Thanks for the review! I have a question: can you protect the case from scratches? Because of this i am doubting if the luxe will still look luxureous after a couple of months... greets from belgium

Hi Laura! Yes it would most likely get scratches from daily use overtime. If you are worried about that I would recommend getting a screen/case protector for the Fitbit Luxe, and I have seen some on amazon that are fairly affordable. And thanks for sharing where you are watching from :)

Hi Abby, does the stainless steel strap come off easily when you’re wearing it, ie. does it drop off randomly when you just go about a regular day?

Hi talkativeman! In my experience no the stainless steel strap doesnt come off easily during my daily wear, it stays securely in place attached to the watch :)

I have had the Fitbit Alta for about 6 years. Thinking of an upgrade. My alta only records steps if my arm is on my side. For example, if I am pushing a shopping cart, or walking on a treadmill holding the handles or sides, my steps are not counted. I know this because I have monitored my steps via the app on a treadmill shifting where my arm is. Question - does the lux monitor steps regardless of arm position, or does my arm need to be by my side when walking?

Hi Gerrian! In my experience it records steps when my arms are at my side when grocery shopping ie. elevated arms at my sides pushing the shopping cart and walking. However, I go for outdoor walks/runs and haven't tested it on a treadmill so I cannot speak to that situation. Hope that helps :)

@@AbbyBReviewing Thanks for the feedback. I live in the Midwest - where walking outside (my preference) is not always an option when snow is on the ground, so I treadmill walk a third of the time. Might be helpful to test that function for others like me. Appreciate your quick reply.

@@gerriandejong1819 No problem! Yes I definitely understand that, I'm in Canada and we get a lot of snow in my area.. I'm one of the rare people who enjoys outdoors winter walks 😅 but I know most people dislike them. And unfortunately my in home treadmill broke last year and I haven't been to gyms since the pandemic started (switched to a home gym) so I dont have access to a treadmill so cannot test that treadmill functionality. However, if you decide to get the Luxe please keep me posted on if it works for the hands at your side treadmill purpose :)

Hello, does the watch shows you how much kalories you spend during the day ? And if it does, is it easy to access to the menu that shows it ? Thanks for your answer !

Hello Seym! Yes it does, and depending on which watch face you choose your calories burned may be displayed under the time or by tapping through all metrics (ex. calories, steps, active mins & more). Otherwise you can swipe from the home screen up to see all your daily metrics like calories burned. Overall I believe this watch is easy to use :)

Hi Christiana! yes it works without the premium (the premium offers you some benefits on the app). However, it does come with free a premium trial to test out :)

Hi Sal! If you buy the special edition version I have here it comes with the chain bracelet and the silicone bands included but, if you buy the chain bracelet separately it does not come with the silicone band.

Hello, I don't have that issue with either the silicone or metal bracelet bands, and I've had mine for over a year now and switch them all the time. I think a most of those issues come from people not attaching the band properly when wearing (this band is different from others Fitbit has used and can be tricker to close, if not attached firmly until you hear a click it will fall off), and I believe the other much smaller portion of people may have a defective Luxe or band.

Hi Malin! It's best to wear it tight but, not too tight that's it's restricting or uncomfortable. Think loose enough that you can lightly move it back & forth on your wrist.

@@GlockMcGruff it should go it at a 180° holding the metal bracelet straight on to the watch, push it in and it will attach,(if you haven't already please watch my video showing how to customize the Gorjana bracelet that may help you, you can see me attach the bracelet in that video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aZtoZLWDuJzToo0.html ) If it doesn't attach after repeated attempts it's possible that your Luxe Gorjana bracelet is defective, if thats the case I would reach out the Fitbit customer service for further assistance. Or return/exchange the product.

Hello, I've had my Luxe for over a year now and it's still holding up and has never fallen apart with either the silicone or metal bracelet bands. I think a majority of those issues come from people not attaching the band properly when wearing, as this band is different from others Fitbit has used and can be tricker to close. And if not attached firmly until you hear a click it will fall off.

Hi Jiji! It is water resistant up to 5ATM or 50 meters. So it can get wet. For example it can be used in the shower, pool or in the rain.

I have to agree your camera shots were NOT bad at all! I actually liked all the shots and angles you got.
