After using Fitbod for more than one year, I can conclude that it's the best app out there for working out. I am actually not sure what it is about it, but it "just works" at least for me personally.

been trying fitbod on iphone and it has lots of missing exercises. For strengh trainning its ok since it generates workouts for me, since I like to lift 3x a week and do hitt and functional trainning workouts 2x a week.. For high intensity workouts it needs a lot of work. It seems that it only has dumbell and body workouts. and all the way to the bottom it only has 4 based equipment workouts, 30 min kettlebell workout, 30 min resistance workout, BOSU workout and a TRX workout..Whats the point of adding the equipment I have since it wont generate workouts for me based on that?? I have sledge hammers, punching bags, macebells, sandbags, slam balls, airdyne bike and many more equipment but not on app.

Hey I’m 14 and I’ve started getting back into working out recently and I’m super skinny like 105lbs at 5’5”ish height and I was wondering if I should set my Fitbod to strength training or bodybuilding cuz I really wanna build muscle and get bigger but I’m not tryna like bodybuild or anything in the future

In my non-professional opinion - it doesn’t matter what you set. You are only 14, so you re going to build muscle and get bigger no matter what type of exercise you do. I think it’s more important now to do exercises that you like. Try both - strength and bodybuilding and see which workouts you like better

Well, dont know what type of equipment you have but there is no way to add my landmine, sandbags, punching bags, sledge hammerc macebells and many more. app missing too many exercises. I think this app will be good for a newbee but for a season lifter in a no

@@futbol1972 sounds like you have a lot of specialized equipment. Maybe you should leave it on full gym settings. I don’t have a full gym in my home. That’s what I go to the gym for. There are just days that I can’t make it and rather do something at home. Even those that aren’t “newbies” aren’t necessarily using all of those things

It gives to you new exercise plan everyday? Every week? Or you can stick with one routine for a while?

That is up to you. You can save workouts or you can get new ones everyday

Is free version still worth it or what are the cons?

Right now Fitbod offers all bodyweight workouts for free, so if you are training at home, you can log as many as you can. The biggest con of free version is the limited number of thing that you can log, but it depends on what type of workouts you do. Download the app and give it a try. In my opinion, the paid version is worth it

Benas Digital Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give it a try. My main concern is as follows: I'm a regular gym user, but cause of the quarantine, lately I've been doing bodyweight type exercises. I completed an only-bodyweight plan with the nike NTC app (4 week plan, with automated routines for each week) and it was good, but it had a major cardio component (as building endurance and resistance) which i improved at the end considerably. The thing is with NTC i feel like im not building muscle mass as i would do normally in a gym, so I'm searching apps that can complement my routine (i like the cardio component of the routine though) with strength base exercises that help me with some muscle gains. I like the guided component of the apps, cause im not good in planning bodyweight workouts that also build resistance AND muscle, so i prefer assisted apps. Would you recommend using only one or combining would be better? Or what are your thoughts? All of this because i can't do normal cardio outside nor hypertrophy work with equipment. Thanks again.

LUMIGOCHA i would go for one instead or trying to combine everything and then switch it up ever few weeks or even every month. This way you get the best of both worlds.

im little late, but i want to use this app just so i can have my workout plan on one place (so i dont forget what exercises i need to do) so do i need to buy a premium version

Ah, yeah, if you create those, you might be able to see them, but you won’t be able to log them

@@aleeale3055 to keep track of your progress, to let app suggest you different weights, to be able to progress your workouts. For me there are tons of benefits with Premium :) i don’t think they have a free trial, but using my link you can log 3 workouts for free to see how it works

The app is mostly paid. You get only a couple of full workouts for free, but after that there is a subscription. They did offer bodyweight workouts for free during quarantine, but not sure if this is still going on
