Scenes from a day fox hunting in Peterborough with the Fitzwilliam Hunt. Huntsmen, hounds and riders jumping fences and riding through the English countryside of Milton Hall and Milton Park outside of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Hey thanks for watching and the comment. It is a beautiful spot there. You would never know about it driving by, even after spending a couple years in Peterborough it was a beautiful surprise to find it when we went to the hunt.

I was not putting down your hunt or have anything against running hounds after fox or coyotes. It's a great sport and I enjoyed it myself when I was a lot younger.

@Charlie Gascoyne : No, it is not a "smoke screen". Since the ban I have not seen one single dead fox. And I ride out with 3 different hunts. Regularly.

We didn't kill fox, we hunted wild fox that would go to ground when they decided to stop. A fox can climb a tree like a cat when he gets pushed hard enough. End of chase. Hunt over. A canned hunt will end in a dead fox. Not a wild hunt.

@@jimnowak3960 Hunting in any form is sadistic and cruel. Don't you have enough to amuse yourself? Do you think it's acceptable to terrify animals then? I think there is something wrong with people like you. I really do. What pleasure is there in what you do? If I enjoyed hunting I would hate myself! I would question my morality.

just because you don't shoot something does not mean it is not a hunt. It's a hunt for fun if you'd put it like that.

That's true Cactus lady. I use to go listen to hounds run all night after fox and coyote. We did not wish to harm the animals it was the chase and the heart of the hounds. Once the fox got tired he would go to ground or up a tree. End of hunt. Very enjoyable to listen to on a cold winters night next to a camp fire. What do you mean by chomps ear?

Would it not be better for the cavalry to do the hunts in England, - the long leaping reach of Lords and Ladies seems to have diminished - (maybe due to the weight of gold in those silk lined pockets) and let's face it, - the landed gentry are probably more interested in their game stations these days? Harry's charity could arrange for serving and ex-soldiers to exercise the contents of HM's stables properly??

Sadistic, horrible human beings. Greed is a sin, and they are greedy for vile entertainment because they don't have enough! entertainment. I would HATE myself if I enjoyed hunting and killing for pleasure.
