Thanks for including the beautiful Chinese dragon & Lion of Judah mural by Jeff Huntington in the background of this video! When I used to live near Baltimore, I always enjoyed walking by there when I was downtown to admire Jeff's artistic skill. Also, thanks for highlighting a lesser known part of Baltimore's history. 恭 喜 发 财 !

Did you notice the Chinese Masonic house in the middle of the block? I lived down the alley from the White Rice Inn in a house that was a Chinese bordello in the 1920s. That house was built before 1856; it and its neighbor were torn down to make a big condo building on Mulberry just west of Park. Mee Jun Low's restaurant was across the alley on the second floor, catty corner from Martick's.

Great video - Keep it up! My pal Ten and I have talked about this neighborhood quite a bit. I have taken my kids through this block many times to show them what is left of Baltimore's Chinatown.

I think I've seen a restaurant or two around there but never even knew there was a Chinatown. Anyway, keep up the good work on the videos--some of the locations I do recognize.

Wasn't there a restaurant caller The China Clipper downtown in the 60's or am I nuts?It had a blue neon motif.

This is so cool to see. I went to college close to Baltimore and had never heard of it. Culture and history is among us everywhere , just have to take some initiative and step out our comfort zones
