Honorable mention to the Whisperer in Darkness from Creature Codex .

The entire concept of the Void & all the amazing creatures Kobold Press came up with to help channel it made a MASSIVE impact on my home game & world building when I was writing the first draft of my setting. In fact, the main reason I went with Black Flag/Valiant is because I wanted to make the Void an integral part of the setting. The Voidling in particular was a fun concept to play with. In our game I had one by the name of Maza-Ena (little Shadow) infiltrate the party & turn one or two of the more evil inclined members, using them as assets in a long term plan to release thousands of its siblings from an ancient celestial vault. I LOVED playing the little smug ball of shadow, & even got to beat the ever loving crap out of our Paladin with him while the poor PC was trying to sleep, flipping Gravity back and forth as they tumbled around reaching for their sword. Good times!

I'm tempting my wizard with void magic. They have to do some increasingly heinous acts and then I'll have them go collect a favor from a void dragon to teach them :D

I plan to use a void dragon as a campaign ending... The only way of avoiding a tpk after they kill the dragon that came to my mind was a literal intervention from the gods. That's it, a god shows up and will say "good, you are safe, don't hate the dm who wanted to have fun with a really terrifying creature"
