Exactly it's fr embarassing 3 rewrites of the entire show on youtube manage to be wayyy better and most of us agree the show should've looked like this but budget issues and the spots 🙄 literally there should've been a minimum of 7 spots in her entire costume period 😂 have her lower half down from her waste be completely black too

Yeah I would've loved to see the show explore more of Adrien's awkwardness in a school and how being locked up in your house all your life comes with trauma and social interaction problems.

i’d love so that the villain gradually are more powerful, and i’d also like if mcs get more powers but SLOWLY, they will have to learn how to use them properly

@@flybalbu Yeah. They’ve had the exact same skill set for so long (outside of the occasional power-up), that there’s been no development in both the human and superhuman stories from a visual/technical standpoint

My issue with the show is that its a kids show. I feel like if it was aimed at teens and adults (who do seem to be the biggest audience) the show wouldn’t be so restricted and could reach its full potential more. More character development, more plot progression, more emotional weight and less filler episodes.

Yes! I was actually a bit captivated by some of the dialogue he gave them here. Like their initial meeting as heroes genuinely felt like the start of an epic super hero story, and adds more depth to their dynamic in the story.

Yeah I can understand why some people had the reaction they did, but I never said that I hated them personally or even the premise of the show. I just wanted to point out the things that could be fixed to make it better, but I understand that some people don't want to acknowledge flaws sometimes it just sucks that have to be hateful about it. Ikr! The reason I watched this show was because of the synopsis and what it is about. But I was left disappointed as I watch the episodes (especially s3).

yeahh I think the main thing that's honestly hurting the show is that promo, because when they put that out they gave people expectations of this really cool superhero anime type show, but then ended up switching it to the 3d kids show they have now. Here's hoping they do a spin-off or something with the anime style

another ending I had for the season was this: the explosion still happens and we cut to a building overlooking it, we see an old man with a cane glance down then start to walk away. As he turns around he see's Ladybug swinging through the air and he gives an evil smile while taking out, and revealing, the turtle miraculous. I ultimately went with the other ending just because I would want the 2nd season to have more of a focus on these criminals/mob bosses with the mayor not just committing crimes to help defeat ladybug and cat noir but also to use the mayor's position to influence the people of Paris that the two are bad and they would try to turn the city/civilians against them. But I get that the mayor might be a bit cliche. Either way I'm glad you liked the rest of the rewrite! Thanks for the heads up about the special by the way

@@wiremagician I can respect that. Not only having super-powered villains but also regular, non-powered bad guys as well would give it a nice blend of conflict for the heroes. But won't lie, the alternative ending sent chills down my spine, and I loved it! I would have loved to see that, as well as even in cannon, the master guy was suspicious, and that would have fit perfectly in the story too. But either ending works to cause suspense and curiosity for the next season. And welcome for the warning. Hope it helps you with the review for it later.

@@wiremagician I'm with Lady Theorist on the alternative ending--and that in turn could be used to set up a third season if you get the green light for that early enough, by having him not be as much evil as knowing that the 3rd season's villain is inbound & the heroes have nowhere near the experience they need to have a hope of surviving... So let's throw people at 'em to get their experience up to where it needs to be, and hope for the best. (And if having him exit makes sense? Maybe part why he is doing it this way is that he is fully aware he is a dead man walking, and is willing to do anything to ensure the younger generation of Miraculous owners/users have a better chance than his did... Hint at a slow TPK, maybe with him having only held on this long because he didn't want this bunch going the way his did, and...well. If this is going to mean they need ALL the Miraculouses...somebody has to go recruit Hawkmoth.)

@@wiremagician The alternative ending fits better. But the scene with the mayor could be a post credit scene, though. Then, the audience would have best of both.

In the actual show if the Mayor was the villain that would be an interesting premise considering Chloe does cause a good third of the akumatized villains unintentionally. That would add another reason to the mayor spoiling her to purposefully prevent her from growing as a character. There would be so many opportunities to show her growth as a character as she begins to look up to her heroes and slowly prove herself worthy of being one herself even as a civilian. If she was the one to take down her dad too. This also makes me think that the writers should make it that in the season with the final (finally) defeat of Hawkmoth, focus needs to be on Adrien more so we see his internal character development and have him play the biggest role in taking him down. Idk its midnight so maybe that's cliche af but I want to see Chat Noir finally used as more than Ladybug's personal bodyguard for crying out loud

Yeahhh that was one of the things that people talked about in the original that when I realized what they did to Chloe's arc, I got angry too. I definitely would love to make a redemption arc for her (maybe something similar to the original) I even had this idea where she started off as one of the main villains akumatized in season 1 but by season 2 she becomes so strong and good that she's able to reject and defeat an akuma from taking her over (just like the original show had it)

​@@wiremagician If you're still going with the "Mayor being the villain" stinger then season 2 would be the best time to give Chloe a redemption arc, because it would make Chloe and the mayor interesting foils for each other. A rich girl who learns not to abuse her power and status for her own gain vs her father who only doubles down on his corruption. Perhaps Chloe learns about what her father is doing and it makes her realize that she doesn't want to be like him. Maybe she even gets chosen by the bee miraculous because of how much she's improved and helps the heroes fight the mayor.

Maybe the more they use their powers, the less of an effect the restore everything has (for example they use their powers four times. Now "Miraculous Ladybug" will restore just the lives or something and everything else is in need of cleanup (but unlike the New York special, this actually has consequences).

I like that idea, I think it would be cool to also have it so that when she does unlock that power it starts off relatively weak so she's not just repairing everything but as time goes on it becomes more stronger to show her growing as a hero (and same for Cat Noir's equivalent power) but the more she repairs the more energy it takes from her

@@wiremagician Exactly, though I might have the fixing of the item that'd been 'infected' be pretty much automatic with defeating the akuma, because not having that (when the item has emotional value to its owner) is not exactly a place I'd want to have to go--maybe use it as foreshadowing of the ladybugs, too.

Maybe the power equivalent for cat noir could be that he makes a kitten that he could see through the eyes of. It would tie into the idea of him being stealth while Ladybug is the person who fights heads on. Maybe as the power grows he could spawn more cats to watch multiple enemies or from different angles so he doesn't get snuck up on and they could work as a distraction to get the perfect sneak strike. Plus it would particularly connect to the Ladybug=superman, chat noir=batman as batman does hide and spy on his foes, plus it might even work as his version of Robin/s if the cats don't disappear after but wonder off

Ooooooo, maybe miraculous the series could take place over a couple of years, that way they can grow a lot and new characters and switch out overtime~

someone in the comments suggested they could unlock new powers as they become stronger (like the miraculous ladybugs for example) but it would cause them to spend more energy from the suit, and I really LOVE that idea! so if they could unlock by strengthening their bond with the kwamis and strengthening their skills as heroes I think that would be perfect at showing growth both physically and emotionally

@@wiremagician 2 years late but here’s my reply. Sort of. I’m a game and music writer. I have written an English Original Light novel with a rather unique writing style so I wouldn’t recommend it for any causal readers unless you’re willing to figure out where the narrative shifts happen. It’s also not for the faint of heart. With that out of the way, allow me to express my take of the Astruc arc of Miraculous, Tales of Ladybug and Catnoir now that it’s over, hopefully. Season 1.- An okay start to help set up the premise. Season 2.- Pretty good. Season 3.- Hm. How utterly convenient that Marinette happens to be so skilled and resilient to wearing so many Miraculous if even in their deactivated form they supposedly can start to place a strain on them and more over to be the first as noted by Master Fu. Well, this is most certainly a stable of the shounen hero trope and one that I don’t really like. Also Master Fu seems to be showing a lot of favoritism towards Marinette. Season4.- Okay, so while I do see why Chloe would turn on Ladybug, I do not agree with Astruc’s reasoning. According to the episode Gabriel Agreste, the episode which in my opinion was when the show started to fall apart in terms of continuity, Chloe Bourgeois secret is that she’s evil. Based off of the show’s continuity up to this point, this ‘secret’ of Chloe doesn’t really add up and if anything it was the first time that the show blatantly threw shade on all of Chloe’s character development. Zoe seemed to be introduced solely for the purpose of replacing Chloe and as several have pointed out, the episode Simpleman is pretty much Astruc using the show to caricaturize those who question the premise and direction of Miraculous. There were a few good episodes like Psychomedian, most of Optigami aside from how Ladybug was able to deduce senti-Nino was a fake, Sentibubbler and finally the 2 part finale, Shadow Moth’s Final Attack. In retrospect this Season was like the inverse of Season 2. Where Season 2 started to flesh out the characters, Season 4 took that character development, burned it and stomped on its ashes before finally sweeping it to the side. My favorite part of the season and of the Thomas arc though at this point it might as well be of the show is this: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qc-WdpSb0dvUpn0.html Unfortunately this part is then ruined shortly afterwards by the mass of Paris mind droningly shouting Ladybug’s name in support and praise. I typically don’t like the ungrateful townsfolk trope though in this case I would make an exception considering that throughout the series, unless you’re an enemy of Ladybug, virtually everyone adores her and if they’re antagonistic at first, they’ll come around to seeing that she was “right” in the end. Marinette has been put on pedestal for far too long and in my opinion it would’ve done the show good if they had shown how the crowd realistically would’ve reacted in response to the events as shown by that clip. Sadly this is a good as the show gets because shortly afterwards… Season 5.- Hey! If you thought the character flanderization was bad in Season 4, don’t worry. It gets worse. Season 5 is practically character assassination and considering what happens in the episode Deflagration, the finale is practically ruined. Overall I would have to say Deflagration is my least favorite episode of the series with my second being Revolution. The finale is also pretty terrible, the worst out of all of them if I so say. Oh sure Gabriel finally gets to make his wish. It’s not as though he’s won considering the circumstances as to why he was finally able to make the Miraculous Wish in the first place. And where was Adrien in all of this? This finale was pointless and what was once a promising premise has ended as thus. Completely utterly futile and pointless. Now, I’ve heard that Thomas Astruc will no longer be involved with the story of Miraculous from hereon but unfortunately even if by some miracle the future team of Miraculous when taken as an isolated unit ends up managing to make whatever remaining story there is to tell of Miraculous structurally better, the damage has already been done. At this point the amount of retconning the future team of Miraculous is going to have to do to even salvage the mess a particular director has made means that to me the show has become a severely injured and critically diseased and suffering mutt that is just begging to be put out of its misery and what cruelty would it be not to? As for the non-canonical musical movie, Miraculous Awakening…

Well, the thing about Beastars and Houseki no Kuni is that the 3d worked because of the characters, one being a cast of animals while the other being a cast of literal gems. Having humans incorporate 3d and 2d would only become inconsistent and noticeable. Example? Dragon Prince, or even Ex-Arm

Yeah, so many interesting characters that could've changed the plot and characters are always just swept to the side so Marinette and Adrien (mainly Marinette) can have the spotlight

I actually had an idea for an alternate ending of season 1 where it's basically hinted the master (from the original show) gets the turtle miraculous and is the one behind the explosion we hear. So it sets him up to be a bad guy (maybe with more experience with the miraculous)

ohhhhhhh I really like this idea!!! I gotta admit, the one thing I think my rewrite really lacked was a good set-up for the ending battle, but you did such a good job executing it perfectly! maybe we even throw in one more detail which is after Gabriel hits Adrien, and Adrien runs off we get a brief shot of Gabriel looking almost surprised, suggesting that he didn't really mean to hit his son and maybe even (very briefly) question if what he is doing is the right thing
