Nice work! It's a real shame modern machines don't have the same ease of serviceability that those older machines used to have. I have an LGA 1150 Gigabyte motherboard with a bad PCH but it's a BGA component and thus is a very hard repair unless you do it all the time. Very disappointing.

In the days of the c64 and such they even supplied you with electronic schematics so you could services them. Those days are long gone.

very nice find ,i found this one 3 years ago at my local thrift store International Cracking Group (ICG) AKA: ICG Crackings Group Types : Demo Group, Cracker Group, Fixing Group Base Country : Netherlands Trivia : Members of Micro Force. Members according to Solution for Neverending Story: Marco, Harry, Nico & Peter. Marco used to live in 6041 EM Roermond and was damn quick (Dueco).

While going through my spare bin I found another keyboard that had a centered return key, but the normal plungers.

@@RetroGameCouch I don't have a keyboard of that kind. Just when you think, you have seen it all, something strange comes along. I guess it's time for another eBay search then...:) Edit: I found one on ebay (just the keyboard), but it's in such a rough shape (extremely yellowed, several keys (including F1) are missing), that I won't get it.
