Together with a troupe of dancers, sound and movement collide to create an immersive experience, narrating #PierpaoloPiccioli’s latest collection. I love how much Pierpaolo loves Twigs. This is the second time (that I know of) that he's given her ample space to perform during one of the Valentino runway shows. And Twigs, as usual, doesn't disappoint.

He also used her music in his Haute Couture FW 20/21 show. I just finished watching Twigs L’École interview. I love how she was just calling Pierpaolo to design custom looks for her and he insisted she perform at his show, she really is his favourite. How sweet!

I always feel twigs music speaks to my exact experience at each time. Magdalene I was going through a dark time. Caprisongs is about coming out of that dark place and just having fun and being connected to others. This new era seems to be about reconnecting with yourself and growing as a person. Ya I hate to drag it back there but she said she had bullies back in high school? And at times when she’s surreal levels of talented and creative (I KNOW that’s like all the time) I just remember that she has some OG haters out there and they’re probably having to do mental gymnastics trying to justify their contempt for her. The dancers and their performance was truly magical and mesmerizing. Not sure if it helped showcase the few pieces that were shown on camera. The dancers were more captivating than the models. There’s got to be a way to blend the two so both standout. To put so much work and talent in the fashions and have it not standout is sad. The dancers were truly awesome. Very interesting show.

well obviously you're watching a video showcasing the performance with the fashion in the background. there is another video that showcases the designs with the performance in the background. Honestly, I think it works pretty well cohesively. There are lots of repetitive and slow movements in the dancing that allow you to look away without missing much. the music is sublime

Phenomenal. The greatest compliment I could possibly give Twigs is that this was next level and She reminded me of Kate Bush. That’s something!!! All singing all dancing. Such sensuality from the dance troupe that I’m guessing nobody gave a fuck about the clothes as this was a happening. All the tracks were a delight. I love FKA Twigs. She's an artist through and through. I can tell from this whole song and performance the textures, the high pitched singing, the performance that she loves trip hop, ambiance, down tempo and ofc eurodance/techno and trance music. It's all blended into this one song perfectly and I love it cause those are my top favorite genres of all time.

FKA TWIGS is a ture artist.. never felt such a connection to music and fashion at the same time. So sensual, hard and soft. The dancers were amazing too, everything had meaning. I need to see more shows like this.
