Thank you SEAMLESS you're the man!! You actually explained how the parameters of how it works to give the audience control of the plugin. Most KZfaq videos on Gross Beat the poster doesn't even know how to control it, they just basically say "do trial and error until it sounds good" lol

I hope you never stop using Floops because it would be a real dampener for me to not be able to follow you and learn how to get around Floops to hopefully one day be as fluent as you. FL Studio comes with a demo version of gross beat. You need to buy it separately if you want the full version.

You can use the ASIO4ALL sound thingy for FL Studio. Just change a few settings in that, and it runs perfectly.

I think you didn't mention that you can automate that scratch thing but maybe I've missed it. I use gross beat with bass and chords maybe you could've showcased something like that. Is there a plugin that allows you to manipulate "time" besides gross beat? Gross Beat is easy to use but it takes too much time to make a specific automation with it.

you´ve probably messed with the time control on the first hit. it can´t reproduce sound then because it can´t go to a point before the first hit. he explains that at around 2:20 if that´s not your problem I don´t know... do you get sound when you mute gross beat?

Help. When I put automation clip of Gross Beat into playlist, Gross beat automatically switches between presets on its own. Why is it doing that?

I created a song on FL studio with multiple instruments and i used the Gross Beat effect as well as the Fruity Love Philter, I placed both of these in the Mixer under the Master the track. My question is how can I use the Gross Beat on my song without putting it in the Master section of the Mixer. Can you please make a tutorial video showing how?

every preset on grossbeat works for me almost expect the reverse preset that shit starts like 1 bar or two bars to late never starts onbeat its driving me crazy since i got couple beats with that effect on checked online like crazy no one seems to have the answer

Hi could you make a video on using Gross beat using with Vocals ? I want to learn how to do builds ups with vocals . I like High energy mixes with awesome build up and want to learn gross beat . I am confussed with the time with gross beat etc . I know a dj uses it and he said he uses Gross Beat to do the build up with vocals etc and its fierce .

A simple way is to load multiple mixer channels with gross beat, use a different effect on each one, then use an automation clip for each channel to organize them on the track.

When I use Gross Beat, just Trance Gt, and my patternt lasts for example 3 seconds, and then after that one final note is still going, witchout any patter or sth. and I have to turning in off weirdly way and I cannot use that pattern again coz after tuning int off that weirdly way, that gross beat on that pattern isnt working. How can I silence that effect without destroing the pattern :/

thanks seamless. grossbeat makes us laugh in france, because GROSSE in french it's the word BIG in english, and BEAT in french it's the word DICK. Then, in french, phonetically we say BIG DICK. (GROSSE BITE) LOL

4:51 use the sidechain preset on a bass channel(crank up the volume) and play a bassdrum on first beat of each bar.. thank me later :)

My issue with Gross Beat is that whenever I use it, I only want to to be active at certain places, but when I automate it to turn and off, it sometimes doesn't start and the correct position (at the start), even though I'm correctly timing when to turn it on and off.

+cheeftnx97 That's a nice idea, but is how is it different from automating the mute/solo button in the effects slot? Also, I wouldn't want to mute all the other fx on the channel. Guess you could create a dedicated fx channel just for that, but would be greate amnt of effort to reroute a million things just for that. There must be a better way.

Automate the mute/solo for Gross beat itself, OR you could put it in its own channel. You can alter the mute/solo and the mix level for every effect in the FX Channel, which can be interesting when working with Gross Beat or any distortion like WaveShaper.

You could try timing it differently. Sometimes with these plugins it doesn't hurt to try giving it some lenience with its starting point.

lol you my friend need to familiarize yourself with FL Studio. If you right click any sample or track you can assign it to your mixer, on your mixer you can add the Gross Beat plug in and voila
