If you are playing assault or support and you have mines as a gadget, if you see enemy mines you can pick them up and use them for yourself as it adds them to your inventory. Still has a max of three though so if you already have three you can pick them up and they will disappear, but you won’t get 4 mines

What about the secret invisibility cloak?

Every class should have the ability to carry smoke grenades.

Here's some tips for tanks since DICE has implemented ricochets into the game. 1. - Angle your tank to incoming fire if possible, instead of facing square on. The Tiger is easiest to do this with, but the Panzer 4 and Churchill can use their tracks and side skirts to help eat certain shots. What I mean by this, is instead of facing an enemy with the frontal armour square onto them, try to face them at about a 30 degree angle or so, even up to 45 degrees like in the Tiger so that the corner-ish of your armour is facing the enemy. This will help deflect shells that hit your hull. 2. - With the exception of medium tanks, the turret is the weak spot on all tanks in-game and will actually take the most damage and have the highest chance for penetration. 3. - The Churchill Crocodile has the highest armour values in game, even more than the Tiger and Sturmtiger. 4. - Aim for the flattest part of the enemy's armour to prevent ricochets/bounces. 5. - The HEAT rounds on the Tiger do the highest single shot damage in game, even more than a Sturmtiger, which often means they will 2 shot a tank from the front or side if you get a fully penetrating hit. HEAT shells easily get absorbed by tracks and spaced armour and will register as a ricochet, much like a Panzefaust or PIAT will. 6. - APCR rounds bounce off/ricochet extremely easily after the last round of tank tweaks, use with caution. 7. - Dice has actually modeled different armour thicknesses onto the tanks in-game. Always face your frontal armour towards what's shooting at you, as you will definitely take far more damage from side and rear shots. Medium tanks are an oddity, as tanks like the Valentine and Panzer 4 have almost identical armour values around the entire vehicle. 8. - The Tulip/RP3 rockets on the Staghound are excellent anti-tank weapons to bolster the 37mm main gun. You can very quickly kill Tiger tanks by firing both rockets into their backside at close range and finishing off with a shot from the 37mm main gun if necessary.

Battlefield needs an in-depth series of tutorials. I swear, most players never even touch their gadgets or consider tactics beyond "run directly at the enemy and shoot at them as soon as you see them."

Great video Flak. I didn’t know you could tell the difference between enemy or Allies spotting flare I always just looked at the mini map 🗺 Also didn’t know that smoke 💨 removes you from being spotted. Also didn’t know about the revive reload. Also didn’t know about the flag cap positioning.

Did you know he’s holding the PIAT wrong in the thumbnail. Did you also know the piat in game shouldn’t be able to fire. As the piat isnt under any of its spring tension.

The Supply drop kill also included Vehicle drop was a trick we used way back in the BF2/2142 days when the Commander would drop it on campers and could troll his own team as it could team kill same trick popped up again in BF4 when Commander mode made a return

I use Smoke grenades quite often. I use them mostly with support but people hardly use them. I realized like when we were attacking a position in Grand Operations, we were at a stalemate. Nobody was gaining ground. I noticed that nobody was using smoke and when i threw down like 3, we rushed and captured the point. Edit:(forgot That BfV's Support class doesn't have smoke.)

The PIAT motor trick is absolutely savage. You are a hero sir.

You can manually equip grenades by having your melee weapon equipped, preparing/delaying a grenade throw, then by tapping the quick slash input while holding the grenade back. Your character will mime-throwing a grenade and then have it equipped as in the PC versions of previous games. It doesn’t work with the smoke grenade though but is doable in every console title since BF3.

I didn't know about the flare colors, and fortifications platforms, I'm glad you made this video. I considered myself a veteran too.

You can also reload when you jump into the water. You can crouch slide backwards. The lines on the panzerfaust while aiming can be used to judge distances at which the rocket can hit most tanks. You can go prone faster if you hold down the backwards key and crouch key at the same time. You can also teamkill in some instances where your teammate is in a vehicle that is about to explode and you destroy another vehicle near it.

Best secret I've found is switching weapons while parachuting in can allow you to use weapons and gadgets. It may be patched out by now but piat and frag grenade showers before you hit the ground are handy.

For console players you can rebind vehicle seats to individual buttons to allow you to switch to any seat you want. This works best with halftracks since you can switch to the inside mg, kill everything, then switch right back to the driver seat without exposing yourself. It also works great for the AT halftracks and sturmtigers which have different positions for different threats.

Some of the other features include: Being able to lay on your back. (Similar to R6S) Along with being able to shoot and crawl backwards. (Or on your back.) You can run upright like any other First Person Shooter (FPS) but you can also run while crouched. Last one that I will mention for time's sake: (😆) When you walk up to a Sandbag/ Window (Crouched) your gun will do a great animation of 'being pulled into your body/ chest area more/ closer. This allows 'your character' to (while in a crouched position) aim (Aim Down Sight, ADS or LT on Xbox) over said Sandbag or Window. In other words, the next time you are at a Sandbag crouched. Push the Aim Button, Left Trigger (LT) for Xbox players. (When you get close enough to the sandbag, your weapon will appear closer to your characters chest area.) This allows you to use a weapon a little more effectively in scenarios. Say you Crouch Run to a Sandbag and press LT. (Xbox) This allows you to not be seen/ move almost as fast as another player running upright. That could also in certain scenarios allow you to get a jump on a enemy. Veteran (OG) or Not. (Noob) There are more but as far as mimicking bodily movement's (Human's/ Soldier's) Battlefield V in its own respect has lived up to my expectations. The next Battlefield Title's will like all the previous Title's innovate.

The Boys being able to take out any cover with one shot is exactly why it's one of my favourite things in the game. Last time we had a building destroyer anywhere close to this effective was BF3's M320.

Here's a tip I learned in bf1 that also works in bf5. Soooo I often use the experimental sniper in bf1 that uses pistol ammo. It can switch to being a regular bolt action to rapid tap fire. The switching animation is actually really really long. You can be sniping but hear someone running up on you and by the time you see them your being shot at before you can switch fire types. You can actually instantly switch it by quickly double tapping weapon swap. I noticed it also works with the m1 garand in bf5 :) I'm new to battlefield in general so sorry if that wasn't very useful.

4:44 Its very hard to do accurately. But the PIAT round is basically a motor round so, one can aim strait up and arc rounds very far away. It will travel roughly 100 yards forward from a crouched position. If you can get the round in a generalized area of concentrated enemys (Buildings actually help) Multikills are common.

Did you know, while playing on the PS4, you can hold the XMB button to bring up a shortcut to close the application? Super useful for this game.

I knew most of these but didn't know you could defuse AP mines. Will have to remember it for the next time I install BFV.

Didn't know about the Piat as a mortar. Loved the mortar on BF1.

Something I like to do is when getting shot at I run away while placing my AP mines, AT mines or C4 and basically lure them in and boom 💥 it’s hilarious when they come chasing and take the bait.

You can also jump while charging. Useful when a bipod mmg or any player is behind one.

The bayonet charge screams are also based on faction and not just AAAAAAA everywhere. The character would shout "DIE" or "SCHWEINE" sometimes. Also I didn't know that AP mines can be avoided. Thanks for that, gotta try that now.

As someone who loves the bayonet on the FG42 already, charging through doors is going to be unreal, thank you

To be able to destroy walls and stuff with the AT Boyz u gotta equip the round bust at level 4

I actually experienced this a couple times but if you hold down on the grenade button and revive someone (try this with medic first I have yet to try this on other classes) and after the revive your should have a different display with the grenade in your hand you can then throw the grenade properly and more realistically I recommend everyone who owns battlefield v try it!

You should add that you can fire friendly mines or dinamites to detonate them, sometimes the assault reaches the tank with the dinamite but he dies just before detonate them, just shoot them and finish the job

One of my fave features is that you can shoot your own grenades early, like a better impact grenade lol

Hey i just want too know before i'll buy the game for console(i have in on PC but is old and i play with 40fps...) are there graphic options on xbox and PS? i know consoles at best let you choose brightness but if there is PC style of complex settings i gonna buy this one :P

Pro tip for mines Get a team mate to put a AT mine within the radius of the AP mine and you will dramatically increase its effectiveness. You can kill a whole squad with this or deny a building to the enemy by killing them in the process. Get creative and have fun >:) Haven’t tried this with TNT but I imagine it works the same.

For the offensive strikes, i got kill by a smoke barrage, i was confused yet surprised.

not setting off and diffusing mines while prone... that was in other BF games wasn't it . I liked the Piaf ability to use it like a mortar and target using zoomed mini map...thats a cool idea.
