Not necessarily. Shikamaru had devised a plan using just the 3 of them. But since Kakashi came along, he revised to plan to make it easier for them. I think it can be assumed that Shikamaru was much more careful in his initial plan since they still didn’t know Kakuzu’s full abilities

fun fact : Naruto took an advice from Choji, when Choji got hyped and said the jutsu called "Rasen Shuriken" he tought Naruto will throw it. So Naruto trained how to throw the Rasen Shuriken back when he was in Mount Myoboku.

Actually, it's not just because of that, in fact I would kinda say that that's purely foreshadowing, the real reason why he traid to do that is because when he couldn't throw it, he too received a lot of recoil damage, so through learning how to throw it he also kept himself safe from the destructive power of his own jutsu. And now I'll make spoilers for the ending just in case Even more so, in the end, both him and Sasuke decided to use a "close" combat variation of their jutsus and that's basically the reason why the two of them lost their arms, the recoild damage was so big that their bodies were literally unable to resist it's own power.

and he can do that because sage mode. to control such immense condemned chakra and also make it rotating so fast etc etc, without controlling your surrounding chakra, you can't. with kyuubi mode, naruto can use his chakra hand to throw instead and controlling where it must to go like vs zombie raikage

he is not. Otherwise he would climb up after few years. He is dead sadly. To keep his immortality he needs to do his rituals. He kinda cant do it while being underground.

@@jakub1140296 if he was dead kabuto would have revived him during the war with edo tensei. also just cause hes immortal doesnt mean he can regenerate. he needed kakuzu to reattach his head after asuma cut it off. being blown to bits means no matter how long he lives he wont ever be able to do anything again.

@@uteriel282 Edo tensei will not work if its target is still alive. We dont know How often he needs to do his rituals. He could still be alive at that time. And anyways, to work, this jutsu also needs part of targets body. To get it he need to found where he was burried.

Kabuto couldn’t even recover Hidan’s body, regardless of if he was dead or alive. The deer from the Nara clan are keeping an eye on that area 24/7.

This was a moment I love cause it was one of the first true signs that Naruto was going from a dumb kid who couldn’t do even a shadow clone right to one of the most powerful shinobi of his era, everyone started seeing him a little different like Kakashi can see early on that Naruto was evolving and surpassing I love it!

The journey of rasen shurikan 1) the first rasenshurikan: deals heavy damage to its opponents if it connects but is like a double edge sword where both the caster and the opponents gets injured (Not perfect) 2) the second rasenshurikan: perfected By using sage mode, where it's throwable and can travel in a straight line also will expand if the caster commands it to expand 3) the third rasenshurikan: it uses bijuu chakra to increase its power, it has many varients and most famous is the lava style and wind style 4) the forth rasenshurikan: it is currently the most powerful and the most perfect rasenshurikan till boruto creates has any plans on nerfing it, it is a mix of combining everything which resulted in a homing missile, it can cut through objects without any problem and can explode like normal rasenshurikan, currently this is Naruto's most powerful Jutsu in his Arsenal!

Kakuzu would have been dead in 2 minutes after getting hit with that! Even if Kakashi hadn't finished him off!! As explained later on, Wind Style RasenShuriken was a wind based dokujutsu! Later to be labeled as an SS-class Kinjutsu! Basically a weapon of last resort!!!

Hidan's immortality isn't an ability that Jashin grants him, Hidan's immortality is an experiment of the cult towards Jashin, that is why there is no other immortal like Hidan.

No hes dead. His immortality only works if he does that ritual thing. Without it he likely died of starvation. Plus he was revived later on. Cant be revived if you're still alive

While I like the whole rasenshuriken, I do dislike that Naruto "saves the day" here. It feels like cutting to Naruto takes away from Shikamaru's story. And I would have much preferred if Choji and Ino managed to defeat Kakazu. I don't know how they would do it, but it feels like they have nothing to do with regards to avenging their sensei, while Naruto just shows up and takes the spotlight.

I actually hated tha tNaruto came into this fight. It was a great fight and then Naruto shows up to beat him for no other reason than he is the protagonist. They really try to upsell this "new" justsu but it barely does anything other being a projectile with little major use in the future. Kakuzu was a pretty cool villain and had such a weak end, especially for having killed a hokage.

@@maximilianzaff2822 he plot armored himself a win. like when did he set up that massive hole? its only been 3 days since asuma got killed according to the story and shikamaru spend 2 or so crying. and he ran out of chakra 3 or 4 times during the whole confrontation with hidan and kakuzu yet kept going as if nothing happened. the fighting looked good but hidan and kakuzu should have won that.
