Halloween's coming, huh? So let's welcome it with an appropriate video!
Uff, finally done. As always, the French lyrics of this movie are spectacular, but really complicated....
*As you can see, there are a couple of deleted scenes in the video. I added them, since as audio, I used the soundtrack version, which includes the extended instrumental (even if the English lines were not adapted), and I filled it with the cut scenes.

In French "prendre son pied" is an expression that means "have a great time". Especially, on the sentence "Au casino, je prend mon pied" put in context, it means "at the casino, I have a lot of fun" By the way, you did a very good translation. ^^

Ah bon ? Je ne le savais pas, merci beaucoup ! Cet passage là m'avait laissée très incertaine, car il était evident que quelque chose ne marchait pas, mais je ne suis pas arrivée à trouver une explication pour cette phrase. Merci à nouveau ^-^

@@FlamSparks In french the expression " prendre son pied= to take one's foot " if we translate literally comes from pirates when they shared the pay they stacked the gold coins until the stack was one foot long.

Darbois isn't his real last name, he took his mom's stage name. She was "Jeanne-D'Arc Charlebois" (a Canadian singer,) but was called "Jeanne Darbois."

Ok I had to translate the part the translator didnt Rein ne va plus, le jeux sont faits means "nothing goes the game is over" and that fits well with what's going on here

Laurentiusje Oh, why was this movie dubbed in so little languages? When I went to Amsterdam last summer and realized there's really no Dutch version (yes, I suspected it, but my subconscious still hoped...), I felt so broken...

aww, realy? well, only Disney and a few other kids movies are dubbed. I always thought that only Germans did it because in Belgium they listen to the english version (Flanders that is) and in Britain they listen to the original. so for me it was strange to find out that a lot of movies don't have subtitels, but are all dubbed. so I share the confused part :( I also want to go to Amsterdam XD I've never been that far to the north O.o'' we always stick to Germany and Belgium :3

Laurentiusje Ahahah, when you say "points of view" xD But I was actually surprised (and left down) because TNBC _is_ an animation movie, yet it hasn't been dubbed in many languages (and since it's my favourite Disney musical, that's particularly painful for me...) :( Eheh, I've been traveling a lot, and I really liked Amsterdam, I found it a very interesting and beautiful city :)
