Just a simple dialogue would solve this. Flash: "they have a weakness. In our timeline it's called kryptonite. It's a green space mineral that came from their planet" Batman: "okay I'll find it" Several hours later Batman: "there's no such mineral that came to our world" That would've been better than not trying to solve it at all
