After viewing this video, What comes to ones mind is , Journalism during 90s compared to Present day Journalism. What an era of journalism we had, a reporter speaking with Ministers and PM asking questions, unlike prescripted era of today.

What changed in last 32years? In 1992 the technology was pour, but media and press was strong and honest. Now in 2024 the technology is very powerful, but media and press became very currupted.

Secularism should not imply that Indians have to live as an “apologetic Hindu” in their own country. In our entire history we have been the birthplace of many religions - buddhism, sikhism - or expansionist of other islam, christianity. We welcome the spiritual ideas, honor their traditions. We didnt build a temple at bodhisatva, or nanak’s birthplace - but out of appreciation of tolerance of other religions, respect their founding father and principles. Ram is a key tenet of hinduism and Ayodhya and temple area has been established by ASI and supreme court as his birthplace. Tell me one other major religion in the world that has not fought for it most holiest of places - be it christianity/judaism in jerusalen or muslims in mecca/ medina Why should Hindus in their own country be apologetic for undoing the bigoted, non-secular actions of vandals and conquerors. Why is babri masjid any more special than the masjid down the door. Clearly ram mandir is order of magnitudes more significant to the Hindus. The waqf board in accordance with secular principles that they are now lamenting should have offered to have a temple built at the site and relocated the mosque. Secularism means every religion should get a fair considerate opportunity to practice - not that every arbitrary aspect of a minority religion needs to be protected and the majority has to be apologetic for their most sacred paradigms. Secular or non, religion is an important part of national identity. The world has to accept that this 1/5 of the world population that by its history has proven to be more respectful, tolerant than almost any other group in the world, and by their refusal to be non-apologetic, self-deterministic and nationalistic is not an excuse to demonize our secular roots India did not go about using religion to conquer and convert peoples. We welcome all. One doesnt convert too hinduism - you just choose to be and u are. Failure of congress vote bank politics along religions lines have failed. Indians should reject vote bank political of any kind. Muslims have many more religious, social, political and economic freedoms in India than any other islamist country. I empathize with the daily discrimination and suspicion the community must face. I hope they reject a feeling of persecution based in religion and use it to use their constitutional rights to seek equality of opportunity, respect and dignity enshrined in the constitution

My neighbours son went to ayodhya, he was a kar sevak. He brought back a banned video tape. I still remember what i saw in those tapes as a child. It was horrifying. Half burnt dead bodies being theown in the river by the cops. Journalists being killed. It could have been the same tape as this video but it was longer.

Poeple at that time was way more confident and good spoken . I really liked .
