Exactly! He’s judging him like he’s a rapper professionally. And he doesn’t understand that the whole delivery was part of the gimmick. He wants the man to come out there and be the opposite of who he is in his delivery. One of the essential parts of being a good rapper is being authentic. we all know who Ben Shapiro is and how he acts, so if he came out all hyped up and loud, it would come off as fake and it would hurt the overall performance.

Ben is a classically trained musician and a master of words. I’m pretty sure he is more than capable of writing his verse with maybe a few notes from Tom. The delivery was definitely on purpose to be funny.

Ben interviewed Tom last year after Dirty Money, and the slogan on Ben’s hoodie is his own, which Tom used in Fake Woke. In the interview, Ben joked about rapping in one of Tom’s videos… so this is 💯 perfect 👍🏻

I saw that interview and loved it so much but I got totally into Tom macdonald after watching a Michael Knowles reaction of Snowflakes. I’m 58 yo married mother of 2, retired school teacher and I now listen to rap because of Tom- well “conservative rap like Bryson Gray, Adam Calhoun, etc. Even tho I listen on Spotify, I bought all his CDs just to support him and Nova. My 20 something kids make fun of me cuz I listen to Tom all the time😂

Bens dead pan delivery (and just presence) is the cherry on top. Its the best thing about it, its kinda radiates Bens normal seriousness as a back drop to the fact that he is obviously doing this as a funny kinda gag thing. It feels very Ben to doit in this way and I think it just adds to the whole. Especially with Tom being so very animated, Ben just standing there gives a both cool and kinda funny contrast. I have no problems with the delivery nor the posture. And thats not even taking into account that Ben, in all likelyhood, never dropped a bar in his life before this. I think he did good. 🤣

Hey, I'm proud *AF* of Ben for doing this and stepping so far outside his comfort zone!! Some people say Ben sounds like he's reading off a script... Maybe he is! And WTF would be wrong with that? He reads off scripts, or just speaks his thoughts outright most of the time. You can totally see by his body language that he's a bit uncomfortable in this situation. In a 2012 interview he said (and I am quoting this from memory) "Rap isn't music, and you're a moron if you think it is." So, I give him a bit of respect for coming this far in his opinion, AND for the sense of humor he obviously has to do this in the first place. To tell the truth, I think the robotic delivery is en pointe for Ben. He tends to make all of his points without emotions involved. He's living the motto, "facts don't care about your feelings." That's the real Ben Shapiro being presented to us in this song. He's not pretending to be a rapper in this. He's just talking to his audience the way that he does on his show.
