No fuss or flapping, she stands over to the right hand side, and just takes off! Vera and Captain had been hopping around, both flapping, and about 05.19 she perches over on the right nearest the camera. At 05.19.21, she gives a tiny movement of her wings then at 05.19.24, she opens her wings and just takes off, Vera has fledged! Captain had been watching her, but at the exact moment she departs, he had his head turned away. He turns around to see her flying and watches her progress beyond the camera view. His turn next! He keeps watching and at 05.19.54, he swivels his head watching someone - probably Vera - overhead then at 05.20.476 he moves into the centre of the nest and settles down.
