Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZfaq, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZfaq. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZfaq, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

"The Dance": brought the band back together after guitarist Lindsey Buckingham had exited 10 years before. They had performed "Don't Stop" at Clinton's inaugural and that led to this majestic reunion concert. Stevie Nicks wrote this autobiographical track about Lindsey, and the interplay between them on-stage is amazingly real and personal.

If you haven’t perceived, she’s directing this to her band mate Lindsey Buckingham. He may want to forget about her, but she’s gonna make him play this song night after night making sure he will never get away from the sound of her voice…or until she booted him from the band. Pay attention how she just burns those eyes into him toward the end of the performance.

Funny part of this all is that Stevie was the one who broke Lindsey's heart. Not the other way around. People assume its the other way around - and thats how they portrayed it on stage. Amazing song. Amazing performance. One of the best ever, nonetheless.

Stevie and Lindsey had been a couple for nearly 7 years when they split up in late 76. A great deal of the Rumors album are songs back and forth between them.

So glad you enjoyed this one. Yes Stevie used the fragile relationship between her and Lindsay as inspiration for a few of their top-selling songs. And she wasn't above letting him know right there on stage to whom all the angst and emotion was intended for. Good stuff!! "The Chain" and "You Can Go Your Own Way" are two other must-see live performances from this same concert. The interaction between the two is just as real. Also, quite frankly, they never sounded better.

Fleetwood Mac had so much drama! Lindsey and Stevie had a horrible breakup! Christine (blonde on keys)and her husband, John (other guitarist)were going through a divorce and she was hooking up with one of their roadies! All this drama was fueled by mass quantities of cocaine! You got it right when you said Stevie made it look effortless. It takes very little effort when the emotion is authentic! This is one of the songs she wrote about Lindsey, the dude who had her entire focus at the end.

Great reaction as always Shawn. Everyone on this track played their part though what always amazes me when people react to this is how the pianist Christine Mcvie gets so little credit for her part in this. To me her piano playing sets the whole tone for this song. Beautiful.

Stevie was the cheater and dumper in the relationship. She wanted her freedom. By the time she wrote this she'd already moved on to Don Henley of The Eagles. To quote Christine McVie (keyboards, songwriter, vocals) "Lindsey got tired of feeling bad and got himself some girlfriends and then Stevie couldn't handle it even though she's the one that axed it." Stevie said in an interview in Rolling Stone in 2009 - that she wrote this song knowing he would haunt her for the rest of her life - and he had - so she wrote this to haunt him back. Lindsey's the main arranger and producer for FM said he thought this song was beautiful & bittersweet. He worked on it for 5 months before it was cut from the album Rumours for length and sequencing. (a whole other part of this drama) He was also the Producer and Musical Director for this live show - The Dance - 20 years later. They met in High School at a Young Life meeting (LOL) - 17 yr old Stevie horned in and started singing harmony to16 year old Lindsey singing and playing California Dreaming. He later invited her into his band Fritz in 1967 and a few years after that they broke off as a duo and made one album Buckingham Nicks before he was invited into Fleetwood Mac (1975) but said only if you take my partner. At this reunion in 1997 they'd known each other over 30 years. & after this they were in the band together for another 21 years until Stevie got him fired.

Lindsey & Christine didn't have an affair which is probably why they always worked so easily and great together. Then again Stevie & Mick did and they're best friends. According to Sara Fleetwood, Bleed To Love her was written about Lindsey's girlfriend Anne Heche. By this point Lindsey was dating his wife and she's in the front row in the audience.
