Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZfaq, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZfaq. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZfaq, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

That was a college band .. 45 years ago, the USC Trojan's marched with Fleetwood Mac in Dodger Stadium while recording #TUSK, the first single off their followup album to the groups Grammy winner #RUMORS.

Wow this popped up in my feed - I was in the USC band onstage for this performance. Haven’t seen this in forever! It was so much fun - if I recall correctly we did three days of practice/performance - we got to play with them for the final song of that encore as well (Don’t Stop). We had a blast and the band was so nice.

I was obsessed with this song when it came out. I was in HS, in our marching band. This version is ok but watch the video with the South Cal Marching band.

The lead singer is usually the songwriter. The most famous song from Lindsay is Go Your Own Way. Christine McVie wrote many fantastic songs too. My favorite is Songbird, but Don't Stop was a big hit song.

The USC marching band is absolutely the star of this track, as they are in this live presentation. While the public had a love-hate relationship with it when it was released (mostly negative as I recall), it has become a classic go to song for high school and college bands in parades all over the country ever since. Next major parade you watch I can almost guarantee you some band will be playing this song. That is the ultimate legacy of this song I suppose, as you don't really hear it played that much on classic rock radio anymore. Not one of their most beloved songs.. though it has become something of a cult favorite for many FM fans over the yrs.

I was 14 when this album came out. It seemed like I had waited forever for it. When I got it, I felt like I was the only one who liked it. The USC band's contribution made the song. It was a better album than sales or reviews show.

This surprised me on TV channel VH1 in the mid 1990s. Fleetwood Mac had been gone for some time at this point, and all of a sudden here they were all together again, and the concert blew me away. They were back! I have to admit I literally cried. They're that good. They this one came up with the Trojans (UCLA marching band) and I was floored! SO damn incredible!

Christine McVie's popular songs (with FleetWood Mac), include "Everywhere", "Dont Stop", "Little Lies", "Songbird", and "You Make Lovin' Fun". Though her voice is quite different than Stevie's haunting, raspy sound, it's nonetheless very lovely.

That was the USC Trojans marching band! They're super famous in their own right but became more famous when they did Trunk with Fleetwood Mac. They're on the studio version, too. My old school, the band (and the football team) are legendary!

It's USC Marching band who performed on that song in the studio with Fleetwood Mac....song was a big hit in the 70's. When Flexible Mac performed the song in Sacramento USC Marching band came out and performed with them. The song played for about 10 minutes 😅😅😅😅

You have to hear Big Love, see a live version of it with the band back in the 70s or one more recently than that with Lindsey. Hard to believe anyone can finger pick that fast. It's off the chain. Lindsey arranged most of their songs, and he and Stevie wrote this one. The two of them had an album before they joined FM. You've heard a couple of her breakup songs to him, so need to hear his to her: Go Your Own Way. It's fantastic. He has a damn good voice. If you want one by Christine McVie try Songbird or Warm Ways. oh, it's kuh-COFF-uh-nee (cacophony)

It's part of the USC Marching Band. Not the entire bsnd because there are almost 300 Marching Band members. University of Southern California is known for having the largest Marching Band. Think they still hold that record. Glad you were surprised. You're right Lindsey in no Stevie.... just like Stevie is no Lindsey. Watch him play and sing Big Love in a guitar solo. I love the sound of the song they sang just before this called, Go Your Own Way" written and lead by Lindsey Buckingham. This concert has excellent sound as it was set up to record a live album.

When this song came out, the record industry was in decline and there were fears that many studios would disappear. Then this song came out and it literally helped rekindle the recording industry.

Hi Shawn! I graduated from The University of Southern California in 1979. The year of TUSK! The original video was shot at Dodger Stadium. Colors are Cardinal (red) and Gold for USC. The band still plays Tusk! at every game. The older official video has an obviously wasted Stevie with baton leading the band and having a good old time. Awesome song and reaction from a Trojan here, Fight On! For your own entertainment, there is a video of Lindsey at USC in 2015 giving a talk and bit of a show in a theater. From 75-87 (The Rumours Five) Stevie sang the fewest leads for FM among the three singer/songwriters. Lindsey was on lead and co/lead on 50% of the songs on the albums and when they performed live. Christine was in the band for 5 albums and 5 years before Lindsey & Stevie joined and a session musician years before that. Some picks... After Lindsey and Stevie broke up, Stevie had an affair with Mick Fleetwood, which they tried to keep secret, and this is Lindsey's way of stating his disapproval of their relationship. "Tusk" is actually a word that the members of the band used to represent the "male anatomy" and Lindsey's way of saying that it was all the relationship was about. The original video features a cardboard cutout of bassist John McVie because he was on vacation at the time. You definitely should see it.

'The Dance'' was the name of this concert on video. A highlight of the show is 'sILVER Springs song written long ago by Stevie Nicks. You can see her singing directly to Lindsay in an emotionally charged message.

I've read that this song is about Mick Fleetwood. His nickname was Tusk, and it was written when Stevie was having an affair with him.

It's the USC marching band. They played on the original recording. I have only ever seen the USC marching band play this song. I believe other marching bands sometimes play it at games but the song really does belong to USC (and Fleetwood Mac of course).
