@@garyarnett1220 Yes…I absolutely loved the original incarnation called “Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac”. So very different than the Nicks/Buckingham years but should definitely be checked out too😉❤️

20 years later they did this song live in their The Dance concert, again with the USC marching band. Most of them were likely the kids of the original players.

Ah memories.... a couple of sisters lived in the apartment below me and would come home from the bars at closing time and crank this up on their stereo. My whole apartment shook with the drums. Good times.

Oh man, I feel the same way about everything you said about marching band, the seventies/eighties when I was a Tbone and Tuba player. Our teacher, who recently passed, Craig Pridmore was from USC as all our student teachers were. We learned early on about the Marching Band from the USC example. They were the shit! Rowdy, irreverent and musically amazing. The Tuba line, notorious USC football game parents took us to -- Circa 1978 or so -- I watched in amazement as they paraded outside the Coliseum to a drum cadence that went something like, "One, two, three shit" and other expletives my parents would slap me for actually showing them off to me. Then, later at USC basketball games in early eighties, at the Sports Arena, I would climb down to be with the band in the stands. By fourth grade when the band teacher came around, I was ready to play trombone and still do. I am amazed you had a Marching Band in seventh grade. I bet you got good at it. Loved sharing your feelings. Like what you do and sharing it with you modern lady was really fun. Thank you again!

That was cool. I used to think long ago that band was for the nerdy kids but I was stupid. That had to be so much fun. Really enjoyed that video.

Chod, for your 12th Mac song, I'd recommend "Silver Spring" or "You Make Loving Fun" !! Silver Spring from their 1997 concert 'The Dance' is fantastic

Good song. My brother was in the USC band and performed in the video...he played the French horn. He said Stevie Nicks and the entire Fleetwood Mac band members were really cool and very nice

Loved that song as a kid, it came out my freshman year in high school. So different from their other stuff. At the time nobody had heard anything like it. Very creative and talented people the Mac.

I'm with you: I'm an old tuba player and I love the marching band background. A song with a similar feel is Paul Simon's 'Obvious Child,' which features a big Brazilian drumming band. Very thoughtful lyrics, as well.

The whole Tusk album is brilliant - I rate it much higher than Rumors (and I really like Rumors). Where the previous album is polished, Tusk is raw.

Tusk was an astonishing track and the title track of an astonishing album. It's a far deeper album than the two which came before it - they let Lindsay Buckingham show his more experimental side, and it resulted in some amazing slow-burner tracks and in the long run is perhaps their most impressive work (despite the huge songs on the "Fleetwood Mac" and "Rumours" albums).

IMO - The original Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green was the best. Magnificent singer/guitarist soulful and bluesy. Nothing like the later Buckingham/Nicks era. Great driving rhythm.

The best version is when USC band plays it alone and they have the song girls in their sweaters and skirts.. brings a tear to the eye and makes you proud to be a American .. U C L A sucks.

The real Fleetwood Mac featured Peter Green. Songs like Oh Well, Hypnotized etc. Bob Welch was his replacement and did Sentimental Lady. Check those songs out.

Fleetwood Mac was a favorite band of mine for a long time before Stevie Nicks became the primary vocalist. I still love her voice, but you should check out some of the earlier, more blues influenced albums. Bare Trees, Future Games, Penguin and Mystery To Me are some that I still listen to.

You should listen to Fleetwood Mac blues with Peter Green . Him & Mic Fleetwood the orig members of Fleetwood Mac . They wrote the original " Black Magic Woman " by Santana .

Tusk is an acronym for the USC marching band. I definitely agree a great FMac song.

Not true. The USC marching band is named The Spirit of Troy. The word “tusk” is slang for penis. The Tusk tour was my first concert. At the Forum in Inglewood, Fleetwood Mac had the USC marching band perform the song live. The band also performed live at the reunion concert recorded and released as The Dance.

Tusk is one of my least favorite tracks off of that album. If you like Stevie's vocals, not many other of their songs showcase her "storybook vocals" better than "Sara", from that same release. Any studio version(and there are a few) of "Silver Springs" is quite the experience too.

Get Dee some headphones and I think your numbers could go way up ! Look at Rob Squad Reaction numbers and yours!! Love your channel !!! Obviously, you can't be listening to these reviews under optimal conditions, for all we know, you could be watching these videos on a clock radio in your bedroom ! I honestly believe you could be doing soo much better!! I think Dee is fully capable of forming her own opinions without the chatter in the background. Hope you can take my advisement to heart !!

Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac is so much better imo. Need Your Love So Bad, Shake Your Money Maker, Doctor Brown, The Sun Is Shining, Black Magic Woman all classic blues songs.
